I decided to check the history of some of my gambling results in some of the casinos, sport bets I’m using and I find out I’m winning or gaining more money in gambling than I’m losing. After finding out this today I believe there are people who are winning in gambling more than they are losing.
As for me I can lose 3 to 4 bet slip in a week but if I win 1 or 2 it will recover all the money I lost and I will still have additional money.

For sure this is optional, right? Well, I think it's more on losing rather than winning if I'd take my history. I think it's just for a very selected people like yourself OP but if we take into account all those gamblers out there, it's definitely a majority that people are losing more than they are winning. Your gambling history or bet slip doesn't mean that most gamblers do have the same as yours tbh. Yeah there are professional gamblers out there that has few winning percentage but are up in their actual capital, but still I tend to disagree that they are into winning, it's the other way around.

It might be very different for each individual as most could be not care about their records in casino. I have a friend who also gambles a lot but he says that he didn't look at his historical logs. Maybe they are afraid to see that they are losing big money, or perhaps they don't really care.

Personally, I don't want to complicate things on my side, so I'm also that person who doesn't check it. Maybe I have a mental picture on how much I won or lose overtime. But in the end, it might not be good at all. Just play if you have money to lose, or stop if you can't afford to.

Records are good, but I don't see the need to take gambling records frequently as long as I still stick to my budget. Sometimes, it is a deliberate attempt to control my emotions since I might see a very big sum I've lost and it makes me get angry or make me want to recover it at once, so I don't really see the need to frequent it.
However, I take such inventories twice a year or at the end of the year for self-evaluation so I can decide if it is in my specific interest to either increase or reduce my gambling budget.
Those who might want to keep regular logs of their gambling activities are professional gamblers which neither am I nor am I intending to be one.

There are definitely people making more money from gambling than they are loosing, but that will depend on their gambling habit. You may get to discover that some of these people do not gamble often, and the few times they gamble they ensure that they are not losing so much such that their losses is something they can accommodate. People who gamble less often are the ones who stand a better chance of winning more in gambling that they loose, and it may be simply for the reason that they have a clearer mind to make better gambling decisions.

I won money than I lost money last year in gambling, but this year is a bit different as I am losing money than I have won. Are you making money in gambling every year than losing or you just check a site that you have just registered not long again to make the conclusion. For sports betting or dealing up with poker then i do believe that the number or profitable or winners are much more in compared into those who do play on casino games. Why? we do know the common or the default reason on which this one is understandable. In my case, im not really that a fan when it comes on checking out my gambling history on which im that just that simply trying out to have some fun at the time that i do gamble. Well, im already anticipating or expecting in overall that im still on negative because i do always bust up my bankroll but since i do already accept out that fact then its not something stressful for me as long i do enjoy. The main problem for some people is that whenever they do lose money then they would be trying out to chase loses and thats why their loses piled up until it bcomes deep.

Gambling is a profitable business into its owners on which it will be just that understandable that it do means that there are tons of gambler who do loses up at the time that they do play. Actually there's no issue on this as long you arent that spending into the amount that you can afford to lose.

There’s always a possibility that some gambler is on profit especially those who won max win on some games that gives them early advantage on their PnL.

I’m profitable too on some years or specific time frame but it’s hard for me to erase all the losses I print way back I’m newbie.

I doubt there’s a lot of gambler is profitable with overall PnL considering the house edge.

I believe that there are people that are gaining more money in gambling than they are losing to gambling, I know some set of people that have used gambling to build house, buy car and build a lot of investments that is giving them huge amount of money right now, they share gambling prediction to people and they win. This set of people are very good in gambling and they use it as their source of income.
As for me, I really don’t check that because I’m not gambling just for the money, I’m gambling because I see it as fun so I really don’t care about the money I lose because the money I use for gambling is money I can afford to lose, just my discretionary income.

You might be very correct, some of the things that makes many gamblers loose more than they win is greed, indiscipline, and improper research before placing bet. When you are always gambling to win a life changing bet at once, this might take longer time before even winning a bet. While indiscipline makes you not to stick to a particular game style. Some disciplined gamblers only bet on few odds with particular amount, and they don't change it. And disciplined gamblers makes more wins than they loose.

You recover those losses from few games only if you managed to win the games that are high odds but this is less likely to happen more often. In general people win in sports betting can be high but it can't be true that they are in profits, because if they do then how the sportsbookies are still generating revenue?

Was it in overall or was it only in one casino? But anyway, congrats to you and you are one of the few who managed to have more winnings than losings. I don't even want to check mine since it's a very long list but I based it in my total deposits and withdrawals and in one casino I'm around -$150 loss and some are around $40 win. Regarding your strategy, if it works for you then that's good but personally I have tried different betting strategies including that but it doesn't work for me since if I failed to win that 5 bet slip, then it will just add up x2 of my existing losses for the week.

I'm just curious with your strategy on how do you recover those money you lost in the past 3-4 bet slip, do you go for high stake but lower odds or small odds but high odds to win back the losing bets? because either way it's both risky and if you failed it would add up to the total.

If everything about your gambling revolves around how your can win more than you're loosing,  and you're just trying to Increase your win at all cost, believe me that it's already a bad gambling strategy. Gambling is not work and so should be treated the right way. If you're too all in and following it as though you must win regardless of the circumstances, eventually, you're bent on becoming an addict or an uncontrollable gambler.

I have other important things to do in my with my time and not to start calculating my gambling records to see if I'm in profit or not. Even if I'm in profit, is that enough to take care of my monthly expenses and needs. Gambling shouldn't be given too much attention so that it doesn't mislead you to think that you can make profits from it.

I’m not using gambling as source of income but I do record my gambling progress most of the time as part of my expenses tracking with gambling.

I gamble only casually so it’s easy for me to record every thing. This records help me to analyze and evaluate my gambling spending to improve my bankroll management.

When you say that winning 1-2 bets recovers the 3-4 losing bets, are those wins coming from higher odds (like parlays or long shots), or are you increasing your stake after losses? Also, are you counting the total payout or just the actual profit when comparing your wins and losses? Just a little curious about it, lol.
As for me, I don't think I have been profitable since the first time I started sports betting, but I also believe that there are a few people who are capable of taking more profits than losses. However, it might not going to last longer as most people eventually accumulate more losses.
I'm not sure if, in your case, you still consider yourself at a profit if you're going to add everything you've lost since day 1, not just the betting history from the most recent betting site/bookie you used.
