I decided to check the history of some of my gambling results in some of the casinos, sport bets I’m using and I find out I’m winning or gaining more money in gambling than I’m losing. After finding out this today I believe there are people who are winning in gambling more than they are losing.

I don't actually think that many people bother with calculating it, there are people who probably calculate the whole thing a lot but that doesn't mean everyone does the same thing, for me when a person is gambling with money that they can afford to lose there not much point in them always trying to check how much they are winning compared to how much they are losing and this is why people should watch what they gamble with, if you gamble with your capital then you will definitely be comparing to see if you are making profit but gambling is not a business.

I don't think all this is even necessary to start checking out our previous record and all that , to me it can only start reminding us of our passed lost and can instigate chasing of lost which is literally the height of all. Gamble is mainly for fun and I see no point trying to keep records or settings memories of any kind.

 However those that did otherwise by reviewing back all their past activities in every of their games, if not courageous become tempted to chase what they have lost and in most cases it can lead to addiction.

The real winners I know are not regular gamblers; most of them once they win, they set up businesses with the money, buy lands, invest the money and make their lives comfortable. After this, they stop gambling completely or gamble once in a while. Those who gamble regularly do not seem to be doing well to me.

I guess it is only natural to focus on your wins and forget about your losses since that is usually the motivating factor in continuing to gamble.  It can be easy to forget about the smaller losses when you get a larger win,  but trust me that can be misleading most times because it only motivate you to continue your gambling lifestyle.

I prefer seeing gambling more as an entertainment than looking at it as a reliable way to make money.  Just because someone is winning money in the recent weeks doesn’t mean it is going to happen forever.  Losing your bet is very real and losses happen more often than when you are winning  because casinos and betting platforms are designed with an edge.

No doubt about it, I am losing way more than I am winning. It's like I have 2 days of winning and 5 days of losing.

I went through the last 20 bets in my sports betting history and I realized the biggest reason for my losses is that I lose big and win small. I prefer small odds and while I win 8/10 bets, I still end up losing money because those 2 losses are worth more than those 8 wins lol

Are there any people in here who bet on high odds or make parlay bets? I guess we can analyse how they are doing to reach a conclusion whether I am losing because I bet on low odds, or everyone in general is losing anyway.

It will be difficult for me to say, since if you subtract various bonuses, free bets, etc., then most likely I will be in the minus, but in fact, I used these “additional” boosts, so I am rather in the plus. I recently started using Polymarket (just to get a feel for this hyped-up tool) and I can say that over a period of about 20 bets, my profit is +90%, but the deposit is small, so you shouldn't attach much importance to this. Plus, the distance is small enough to draw conclusions. I hope to remain in profit after 100 bets - this will already be statistically significant.

I have 13 bet I have bet this week and I have 5 loss and 8 wins, with the money I wager on each game, one win from my bet has covered all the money I have staked this month and the odds are not the same, there are some that I didn't even hand pick myself, they were shared by some friends and I just put the same amount on them and boom, it made my day beautifully, there was no reason to lose and be betting, I will quit and make sure I see where the problem is coming.

Although, I will like us to understand the reality of gambling, it's not everyone that will win from gambling, even if the games are easy to win, there are ways casino will get you and make you lose money to them. If all gamblers continue to make money and not lose money, the casino are going out of business and you know what it means if they go out, everyone will be out as well, so for us to win the casino must win in excess so that when we win, the rest will get from there.

It's good to see you're in profit, as it's not easy to become a profitable gambler even if you stick to sports betting. There's still a luck factor that influences the outcome of sports betting. Small odds are easy to win, but sometimes it can wipe out our profits when we lose our bets.

I don't check the history because I play on several online gambling websites so it would be very troublesome and boring if I looked at the history, I only judge from deposits and withdrawals, because this can also describe whether we are in a profitable condition or not.

Are all these statistics even worth anything? I'm 100% sure everyone is losing money when gambling and it's fine because it's just for entertainment. I avoid checking my betlogs because that tilts me and I might end up making another deposit to win some of it back, which will be lost as well.

I prefer to never look back on things where I spend money because it either makes me feel bad about it or makes me want to get it back and both of which result in more losses or stress eventually. Like I lost so much money on trading as well, but I consider it a sunk cost and moved on. Now if I look or think back about all of it again, that makes me want to trade again and recover everything back.

I don't like to do this calculation because when I see the huge amount I have lost, I can feel like quitting, although I do check but it's not like take it so serious like those that are gambling specifically for the purpose of making profit. Although some bookies makes it easy for you to see the total lose and win in a month if you visit the history page, it not all casino that shows it but some does, when you are using such casino, you don't even have to be do it manually.
