The point is that the first to reach a destination and see opportunities first doesn't necessarily mean that he will utilize it the most, in another who started the race first is not a guarantee that the same person will finish first, overtaking happens in life. The first person that invented something or be the first to start something can be given honor as a pioneer but being first doesn't measure the level of success and wealth in the future.

Being early only assured you one thing and that's being the first on the investment but doesn't mean that the early person would get the the highest investment, is like in racing, the moment they started there might be one or more person who would be racing as if they have the best strength and stamina than everyone and believe they are going to win but based on how in calculated they are their strength failed them when the distance is still far and those that seems weak became the winners, so that's how business and investment is, how far you can be profitable is what that matters, an early business person could be overtaken in business by a new person.

That saying is true, but I don't think it necessarily means that the quickest decision maker will always achieve the best results. In many situations especially in betting or investing, what matters most isn't speed, but rather depth of research and understanding of the data. In other words you shouldn't rush into a decision just because you're the first to discover it. What if it's just a trap? Haven't many people been deceived by overconfidence and making decisions without adequate research?

This does not fully count, especially in the cryptocurrency industry. In this industry, not all early commerce took action in investing in bitcoin. When I was new in this forum, there was this user who joined the forum earlier than me, but he was very skeptical to invest. During the 2022 crash, he was of the opinion that bitcoin was going to zero. But at a time I stopped seeing him in the forum, but I do not know if he finally invested.

Many people got destroyed because of this advise, the early bird catches the worms was why many investors look at the new shiny projects like they are mining gold, thinking since they are one of the first few they will make millions, they end up losing everything because been early doesn't always mean that you are doing it right.

Diversification is what I called doing something right, because you don't focus on one thing to be the new shiny thing, and most of the time every new shiny thing will lose value because of lack of interest.

So that, before other people gets to catch up with the information or innovation, the early men who have put in so much effort would be at the top of the market or industry with lesser competitors to contend with because they're way too behind in the race or chase for control.

It's only after many years of experience, at different levels, that you will really understand how true this is - but the hardest part is analyzing the opportunity potential behind any decision. Anyone can agree to anything instantly, but sometimes that is a trap and you actually end up with a negative outcome - taking on a debt, getting locked into an unfair contract, etc. Do not assume that every opportunity presented to you is worthwhile, but use your prior experience in different areas to assess if there is potential benefits. When you look at it from this angle, it's not just about working around what has been found or the idea, but doing everything possible to lead and win in the journey. So, waking up early isn't a must it has to be for the actual work on ground, it could be for a 2 hours read on difficult books, racing, or general exercise to stay fit and confident.

Surely I don't disprove the fact that being the first to discover something is bad, it is good but we can not only talk about the Good side and forget about the bad side. The thing is that being the first to discover something comes with a whole lot of risk, sometimes you will lose the money used to invest in such a thing, sometimes lose part of your body permanently, energy and time, etc. if you succeed as the first person to try out new thing, you'll make a lot of profit and you will become popular.
