hitBTC is despicable. They froze my account funds for six years and I still can't log in. For over six years, no one has contacted me to resolve the issue. I've sent them countless emails, but nothing has been resolved, and no one has replied.I desperately need help from an expert.

Not saying that's what they're goign to do because your account is suspended and not "inactive" per choice but I wouldn't be surprised if they also pull a similar move, even if they return your funds:

I lost several thousand dollars worth of BTC. Was deducted hidden fees of 50$/ month with zero intimation from their end. Clause was hidden in their contract and no email / no notification ever from their end that such a thing existed.
Already gone back and forth with them over tickets and you get auto-generated responses.

If the amount is large and you can afford it, you're better off seeking legal action against them because sadly, they don't seem to care about their online reputation.

Six years is a long time. I don't think they will reply to you or will solve your issues. That's the disadvantage of storing funds in a centralised exchange. On the other hand, HitBTC is pretty much scamming sites. They list all the shitcoins, and then all the token prices dump near zero, and there is no liquidity there to sell your shitcoins. So I believe you lost your funds forever.

From our end, we can't do much to resolve your issues. Unless you are lucky, you may not get a solution. I will advise keeping continuing email and then writing to their social media. This thread will reflect on Google search as well; if you keep writing on social media, then maybe they might care about their reputation. Comment on all of their social media posts; they are the only ones who could help you.

If you look in the forum or search engine, you will find many complaints and accusations of fraud against hitBTC along with numerous negative reviews.. Unfortunately, this fraudulent exchange has managed to steal money from many investors and traders who discovered that their funds were frozen without any clear reason. Some had their accounts blocked, and while other have been unable to withdraw their funds which worth thousands until now.

My advice to you is to file complaints with relevant authorities or accept the loss and move on. Once again, only trust top exchanges in the market, and never use a centralized exchange as a wallet to store your assets for the long term, no matter how reputable it may seem. Also, avoid any platforms offering to help recover your assets, as they will likely try to scam you a second time.

One of the oldest scam platforms ever. I hadn't noticed until now that it was still operational after it was proven years ago to be nothing more than a scam. I remember to empty my wallet there without a problem (worth few dollars) but I haven't receive a single notification from it since then. The reason that encouraged me to leave it forever is because of someone posting in Twitter about shitcoins paying a losting fee to hitbtc for a determined period without liquidity or a trading volume. It was the haven of shitcoin scammer devs to grab some profits before running away with investors funds.

I am sorry for your loss, and for telling you that your assets have been gone forever in the poket of scammers. Even by posting everywhere, they won't give you a penny or even a reply because they simply don't care about their reputation already damaged.

If you don't mind, how much of your funds have this scammers confiscated for the last six years? I am asking that because if it is not a large amount of money, then maybe for your peace you should just let it go, so you don't spend more than the amount owed in fighting them legally. If it is an amount worth spending funds litigation, then you should go for it.

Hitbtc manage to attract deposits because of their extremely low price on Doge when you purchased it but no sell order available to revert it back to any crypto and withdrawal of Doge is disabled.

Literally, your money will be stuck right after you purchased the Doge. I saw it happened and some of my funds was trapped in there too but luckily it’s just small amount since I just try it first.

They keep that condition standing for a long time. Doge trading pair is now removed when I check now.

I have never used this exchange before, so i am shocked how glaring some of their scam tactic is. So based on what you said, the moment anyone purchases Doge in Hitbtc, their money is gone for good.

This exchange is belongs to small to medium exchange category due to the limited reputable exchange back then. They are frequently being use by new project that launch ICO as their first listing that’s why it’s a bit popular rather many knew the existence of this exchange.

They started to become shit when big exchange like Binance, Kucoin & Bybit dominate the exchange industry. They introduce this Doge trap and leave the issue unresolved for a long time.

I use this exchange many times in the past without any problem when I’m selling ICO tokens/ Bounty tokens but sadly they commit scam probably due to low trading volume already.
