Edit: From what I can see, I don't believe he managed to scam anyone yet. But in an abundance of caution, I've DMed everyone this account interacted with over the last week to warn them to cease further communications outside of Bitcointalk.

They did attempt to.... but were caught and are now in jail

Glad he was busted.

Should be a caucasian male, ~25-35 years old, approximately 5ft 9 tall.

I can confirm that my account was compromised. My account has now been secured.

How can this be validated?  Huh

I don't see that your password was reset....  how did the scammer get access to your account?
And why have you not changed the password?

As you can see I haven't interacted with the forum for quite some time.

I was attempting to sell the attacker an unredeemed 1 BTC Casascius coin. In the process he managed to infect my computer

Can you share how they may have infected your computer? Did they send a link to a Zoom call or something?  Also through what platform were you in communication with the thief if you were inactive on the forum?  Was it Facebook, Telegram, or something else? How did they find you ,if not through this forum?

We were in communication on Telegram. He asked me to prove I was trustworthy.

He goes by the name "Sasha" on Telegram and is a premium user. Which could be another link to dox him.

Seems like this isn't the case. I just messaged him on another Telegram and he wiped the conversation immediately.

He's almost certainly watching this thread now and will attempt to avoid capture. He's likely on survival mode now. With that in mind, I will clear a previous post that reveals that type of evidence I have about him. I'll send trusted members this list and will forward an original copy to MinerJones to show I'm not hiding anything.

Survival mode ? I purchased the account from you for $2,000 I purchased Mr says for $10k and he gave me hella collectibles with it. I gave Mr Daniel who’s real account not his Alt account I won’t mention so he doesn’t feel stupider $2,000 dollars for Darkdays and I have the screenshots of the convo where he gives me it and the password and says don’t change password so it doesn’t trigger anything for 30 days… you guys are all idiots

Locking the topic. I unequivocally did not sell this account, for the record.

I'll continue working with the relevant parties in DM for the purposes of bringing the scammer to justice.
