From the title everyone has their purpose or reason to gamble. my question is that are you really effecualising what they mean by targeting and purpose to gambling. Gambling is fine, and as a matter of facts many people are now seeing gambling as the  only way to make an income while there are other who are seeing gambling as an entertainment purposes.. but then, you should know wether everyone around you is seeing gambling the way you doing?

I actually gamble to pass the time, to entertain myself a bit. It's not like I have to gamble every day or earn money from it. Rather, I gamble to maybe spend my free time.

However, those who gamble for leisure time sometimes find that they become very attracted to it and cannot get out of it. This is exactly what happened to me. I was very addicted to gambling at one time, and it is a great thing for me that I was able to distance myself from it.

Now gambling is just a means of entertainment for me. If I lose what I gain from it at the end of the day, I don't regret it at all. Yes, of course I try not to exceed my budget.

I cannot compare how I gamble and my character when I gamble. Every gambler is different; they play to make money, they play for entertainment, and others play just for the sake of playing or just because all the others are doing it.

I do it as a way of entertainment. I set an amount for it, and when that amount ends, I stop for the day because I know the real thrill is in the game itself, not in chasing the profits, which a lot of people do. I have seen people who see it as a source of income, and they fall into the trap and end up every time with a loss. They have to understand how much they can earn from it, but in the end, the casinos will take it all in a single shot, and you will be left with nothing. So it would be better for them to be satisfied with a small amount, withdraw it, and enjoy. But if they go for more, they will surely lose everything they have.. .

The purpose of gambling is different for each individual, meaning that those who have alternative sources of income, i.e., those who do not have financial problems, take gambling as a part of their entertainment.

On the other hand, those who have income problems and want to earn some income from gambling can accept gambling as a source of income. That is, how someone accepts gambling depends on their personal situation. However, no matter how much people around me call me a gambler, I mainly participate in gambling with the aim of earning some income from gambling.

Honestly, I think we all should be thick skinned enough to do whatever we want with our money and time and not to care what other people  think about us. In the end we are not harming anyone and we are just dealing with our own money and taking choices on our money.

When comes to purpose of gambling, in general there are two main reasons for anyone to gamble: either because for fun or because of green and love for money.
The rest 1% percent who gamble forma different reason, do it because they are trying to get rid of specific problems, which are ultimately dealt with thanks to money.

I think the main purpose of gambling is to enjoy entertainment, to make money through gambling or to choose gambling to get rich quickly is very risky. There is no confirm of winning through gambling, the results are completely unpredictable, so gambling is only for entertainment, not for making money. The possibility of losing money through gambling is always high. However, most people start gambling to make money quickly after understanding all the risks of gambling, which is absolutely not right, as a result of which they can never achieve success. So I think it is very important for us to gain the right knowledge before gambling, as a result of which gambling can be conducted according to the right rules, so that self-control over oneself can be maintained and one can protect oneself from addiction.

This could sound very archaic but to be honest; anyone gambling today knows why they are gambling and that wouldn't moved out of their mind till they sees results of what they Had wished so far. As we know we have different gamblers with different mindsets i may gamble because I want to get some money out of it and another gambler may be gambling with the mindsets of entertainment and fun so definitely everyone sees gambling in a different dimensions and mindsets. So basically the targets for gamblers is to be satisfied regardless.

Set your target in gambling, don't wait for what others may say to motivate you about gambling, also make sure that you don't put yourself into major fear through your expectations, because there's no reason why we should take gambling for what it is not, also, when we set targets, we should not be too expectant of it because we may not reach out goals, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't retry and continue the next time with gambling.

To win some money as i bet on football that i enjoy so much, i believe that is the best way i can put it. However, you can now ask the question, how often do you win? Not so often, just like most gamblers. But i continue to do it because i enjoy it, i enjoy the possibility of winning something and also to have something at stake as i follow football matches every weekend.

Take note though that it is still fun because i do not gamble more than i can afford to lose, so i am not under any excessive pressure.

Perhaps it's all about winning, that's why most of us gamblers. But there are different kinds, those who are recreational gamblers, and willing to play and can afford to lose and burn money without any consequences.

But the thing is that the other side of the gamblers which are the addicts, they are chasing their losses as they could be in debt and they can't control themselves anymore. But if you talking about people around, to be honest, I don't care what they say, everyone is different and I don't mind others business.

Thia is a very funny question 🤣, please what do you intend to do with the answers if it happens that everyone gives different answers? I believe there are two or three purpose while people gamble and first some gamble to make money from it while some gamble for the purpose to have fun or be entertained which I doubt sometimes but me personally, I gamble to make money I can not hide it but I don't take it as something I should depend on because that will be insane for me after knowing what is involved.

More seriously, I just gamble to pass the time and have some fun.  I like to think I am good at making predictions and sports matchups offer some very interesting possibilities that I like to try and account for with my betting.  It is nice when you see things happen the way you expected and even better when you can make money from it. 

My purpose for gambling is usually just searching for entertainment.  As I grow older, I find that more and more of my time is spent searching for fun and not worrying about the nonsense that life throws your way.

I can agree that some do too much by mistaking 'purpose' for 'expectations' (which, for the most part is usually selfish) and then complain when the results hit below the red buttons. That's why they're up late at night, looking for what they call a new loop-- could be a strategy or anything else.

It is nice when you see things happen the way you expected and even better when you can make money from it.

Every gambler has their own goals, and they're always different. But sometimes we can't always deduce their true purpose just by looking at them from the outside. That doesn't mean our predictions are impossible, but one way I can at least identify their true goal is by observing them when they experience losses. If, for example, they feel extremely upset and can't control their emotions, then you can be sure they're here to make money.

I was like that at first, coming to double my money, but after experiencing many setbacks, I've changed everything. I only use gambling as an activity to fill boring free time.

IMO, many have the same thought and we've been stuck before with that mindset. We thought that we can make money through gambling so easy. But it's not what we've expected to happen. What came through is when we've come to realize that if the deeper you think of it, the more you'll realize that it shouldn't be the one that will control your mind. Because what makes us target in gambling is no other than money and the more we chase that, the more we'll start to chase losses too. And that's the same scenario for the many of us.
