What are the major targets of those whom we called gambler?

All gamblers have only one major target, that is to win consistently and make it big. Even though those who claim to gamble for entertainment alone, obviously they're all lying. There is no real fun and entertainment when you are losing, that's why every gambler bets as good and smart as they can so they can hit the winning goal.

However, if you are here in order for survival, that's already another story. Gambling have no means to sustain our daily needs for survival, we have to work hard and play smart so that gambling will stay be as profitable and fun as it is.

Do Tell me what is your purpose for gambling?

Well, I don't play games that only require pure luck these days, because I'm into sports betting, so I think it's safe to say that I'm gambling for fun or entertainment. Watching my favourite sport or teams play live on TV is one of the things that entertain me as I grow old, and placing a bet on them will add an extra fun and excitement. I treat gambling profit as a bonus.
Therefore, I can say I'm done with gambling for the purpose of earning money. I've done it before and it didn't work well. I had already tried every strategy I knew.

The primary goal that dominates among gamblers is profit, I’m quite certain that for the majority of people who gamble  their main objective is profit.

Even among those who gamble for entertainment, the desire to win likely lies beneath the surface they simply understand gambling well enough to know that profit isn’t something that can be forced.

However, those who gamble with profit as their primary goal misunderstand the nature of gambling.

They don't misunderstand the nature of gambling. In fact, they know what gambling is all about and the consequences of doing it and even the impact of it in their lives. And that's why their goal to make money is part of their plan and that makes them sure of what they really trying to main. So, if the objective hasn't been hit yet, this gives them the thought of claiming it. But, they should know when to stop and when to give up. Because if they don't know when, it will affect them emotionally and even financially.

There major target should be for the money nah , someone cannot spend his resources, time and energy just for fun , many says is for entertainment because they don’t want people to view or see them  differently, me it’s for the money that is why I gamble with what I can afford to lose .

Even if they are out their and their target is for the money and not entertainment, their should be target limit to what the person really want to win from gambling that will satisfy him or her very well not just to gamble without hope, even when some targets are unrealistic they just set it to know what they are working towards.

From the title everyone has their purpose or reason to gamble. my question is that are you really effecualising what they mean by targeting and purpose to gambling. Gambling is fine, and as a matter of facts many people are now seeing gambling as the  only way to make an income while there are other who are seeing gambling as an entertainment purposes.. but then, you should know wether everyone around you is seeing gambling the way you doing?

People around me do not view gambling as I do. Moreover, due to online gambling platforms, it is not possible to give accurate results as people can now gamble in person, which makes it very difficult to consider who is considering gambling as a way to make money and who is considering gambling as entertainment, but with people's behavior and attitude, the matter becomes easier. I only gamble in my free time, and that too in very small amounts. There are many people around me who consider gambling as a way to make money, especially those who want to make money very easily and in a short time. From this I can say that people around me do not view gambling as I do.

You are right, entertainment and gambling is the major reason why people gamble but the majority is taking gambling for profit making because that's why you see the gambling business becoming so big that a lot of investors are tropping in to invest because of the profit they make from addicted gamblers who choose profit making instead of entertainment. Not everyone who is gambling is reckless as you say because not every one is addicted but the percentage of those who in into gambling for profit making is much that's why you can't see much fun in gambling again all you see is people thinking about how to make profit.

The major target for most of us gambling is to see it as a source of income, Tasmania have been seeking for opportunities to earn through gambling, but vesting much on this could be a waste of time because the probability of getting it done has been wanted is very small, instead we can target having fun, has gambling is all about entertainment in our leisure time and many have failed to get the reality from this fact.

Yes definitely everyone has their respective purpose for gambling but even as that let your reason be genuine, let's be more reasonable and responsible while making our purpose of gambling at the first point.

You can imagine how some people's reasons for gambling is just so funny, however some gamble just to get rich over night while some do it for fun and entertainment purposes. Gambling is not a means of changing our financial status, gambling with such ridiculous mentality will get you ruined if not careful, however it's advisable we are more careful with our reasons of gambling because it is not as always smooth as you think.

Targets? Just one target for me, coz I only have one, and that is to win. No other reason. The majority of gamblers only have one target, which is to win. Even those who say they are just gambling for fun also aim to win. It would be a lie if they say they are betting just to have fun. Every time they bet, they want to win. They are not just betting or taking risks for fun, regardless of the amount, whether they can afford it or not.

Initially I had a major target to be consistent in gambling and eventually win big that will change my life but along the way I realized that the target was unrealistic for me so I had to change my strategy and begin to gamble for fun. Gambling for fun is realistic for me, if it's not I would have left gambling since because gambling to become rich is very difficult and I don't have the funds and time to be chasing a dream that I might never achieve. I agree that we don't need to depend on gambling for our survival and this clearly means that we shouldn't depend on it to make money, if so I don't see why we should gamble for money. My target is to gamble for entertainment and if I'm lucky to win I'll be happy to take it, if I don't I won't dwell on it.
