Everyone is to be blamed for the faults of the nation. Before the President and other representatives came into office, they were once citizens with ambition and ideas to make the world a better place. But the moment they went into power, things changed. As I tell my brother, anyone would change if power were given to them. You see those making many promises, they are the worst of them all. This leads us back to the truth that citizens are to be blamed. Without government intervention, we, the citizens, can make the world a better place.

In political study it's said that power corrupt but absolute power corrupts absolutely. Many political leaders are behaving autocratic with the power they were collectively given by the people through elective means. And the citizens on one hand are too complacent and weak to revolt against corrupt government to bring about the better changes  they desire. Politicians shouldn't be trusted by words but by their actions but in modern society it seems the citizens have become more stupid than in ages past, they fear to speak and take action against a bad government but just seat with folded hands bearing the pains and hardship.

I disagree with the saying that before someone becomes a president and other representatives came to office,  they where citizens filled with ambitions to make the world a better place,  it is not all that believes in positive things rather some are only interested in power. Everybody on earth has there own ambitions either to make the world a better place or to destroy the efforts of other's by creating a name for themselves  in anyway they can.

That's true, everyone has their interest at hand, some one just say positive things as a political strategy to win the heart of the masses but change totally when power is gotten. Anyone is prone to change when given power but not everyone abuses power, some still put the interest of the citizens first before their's and that's how it should be.

 The world would be a better place when more leaders start putting the interest of their people at heart especially in Africa where many leaders are selfish, greedy and power drunk and it's becoming a norm cause many people now see politics and positions of leadership as a means of maintaining financial freedom instead of serving the masses.

I do not believe that one party should be scapegoated for a country's problems. There are instances of poor governing, systematic corruption, weak state institutions, and the burdens of history that are practically beyond the control of the average citizen. People are however, able to motivate change through increased awareness, voting, protesting, and social pressure.

The reality is that the masses are not completely guilty and are not completely without guilt either. The system and the masses influence one another positively. Where there is greater awareness and organization among people, there is a greater potential for change. Where there is a greater presence of fear, poverty, or a shortage of information, there is a greater presence of prolonged suffering.

Is the masses the fault of the nation as in the reason behind bad conditionings (inhumanities)?
If not, how are they not the faults of their nation?
If they are, how do you think they're actually the faults of their nation?

The masses are not the fault of their nation neither are they the reason for the way their government has gone bad. They are not the government or those in high places or parliament nor those who formulate policies or make laws. Policy making is what either better a nation or put it in bad shape. In policy, there is also penalty for offenders. What the question is, is what happens to offenders of laws and most culprits to laws are policy makers who see theirselves as bigger than the law.

Although, some masses are accomplice to the bad leadership in rigging elections for the politicians but they are few. The solution for the change is to have a peaceful revolution if possible.

The fault of every nation is that the people of the nations do not attempt to recognize God Almighty, the Inventor, Creator, and Maker of all things.

Scientists try to find out how and why things work the way they do. Things work because the science of God makes them work in ways beyond understanding. The only way to have success is to use the God-science that is in us, which we don't understand, to attempt to find God in our lives.

The best understanding of what happen to nations when they don't seek God to obey Him, is found in the Old Testament of the Bible. Ancient Israel was the nation that God, Himself, 'planted', with the offer to keep them strong, if they obeyed and worshiped Him. But they failed at times, succeeded at times, over and over, until they failed permanently by rejected His Son, Jesus. The whole Bible shows us this.

Get into the Bible, obey God, ask Bible scholars any questions (Protestant pastors, especially), and do this nationally, outwardly, and professionally, but also individually, and have successful nation. It's the only way.

Political promises are sweet --- before officials become president they will give sweet wishful thinking to their citizens by occupying promises and solutions for the country especially reducing poverty and employment solutions once they become president often political campaign promises are ignored and they are too ambitious with their own plans without happy citizens.

I don't know if all citizens are to blame? During political campaigns people say it's a democratic party and everyone celebrates their respective presidential candidates, and the behavior of citizens will be caught when officials or presidents do not fulfill their promises.

What if the masses are actually their own cause of governmental problem because the question is that how leaders get into the position they are, of course the masses so if they did not care to no whom they're voting they are obviously given powered to the people that would corrupt their system and were politice and power is unstoppable is how they would become the way or means anybody would go through before becoming a leader after them, actually in my country there was a time we could vote and they call the winner from the vote so actually that should have been the time when everybody would have voted on who is right and create leaders who would give us good government than using because of what they gave them to create the bad government we have today so actually the masses masterminded a lot of things they did not no would come back for them.

So we can all agree that most rulers autocrats in nature, hiding behind the idea of the electoral process - Democracy.
I understand why people no longer think of revolting against the government like it was done in the past. I think it is because we are too soft, and the government has held us captive with the difficulties they have brought upon the nation. A hungry man cannot fight. A sick man cannot come out to protest. If you go around your vicinity, you will understand that everyone is going through one problem or another. If everything is okay, we will have the time to fight against the bad government, but we can't when we are handicapped.
