In sports betting, who do you really trust? The tipsters who show profit for a while, or yourself believing that in the long run you can be profitable if you keep learning.

Many bettors just follow tipsters blindly. If they see a winning streak, they assume the tipster really knows what he’s doing. But most of the time those results don’t last long. A few bad weeks and the profit disappears. So I’m curious how others see this. Is it better to trust someone else’s picks, or focus on developing your own analysis even if it takes longer to become profitable?

Well I take pride in myself so I don’t follow tipsters. I wouldn’t even know if they are profitable because I don’t really check them.

Even if they claim they are profitable, I still wouldn’t follow them. Like I said, I have my pride and I want to become profitable in sports betting because of the skills I develop on my own.

I’ve been betting for more than 5 years already and I still haven’t fully developed it yet, but that doesn’t make me desperate to subscribe to tipsters. I believe my time will come, and even if I continue to lose in the coming years at least I didn’t spend money on tipster subscriptions.

That money can just go to my own bets, and if things go wrong I only have myself to blame.

Both are fine, but in general, I think it's better to trust your own picks and develop your analysis skills, which I think could benefit you in the long run, but if you feel like you are not getting anywhere and think someone with more skill and success in sports betting could help you, then, there is nothing wrong with trusting someone leses, picks, and if the guy where you get your picks doesn't give the result you expect, you can always change to someone else.

Depending on my skills. I knew to myself if I’m not skillful on the things that I’m planning to do so I can determine immediately if I will be profitable in the long run or not.

Based on my own skills, I will choose profitable tipster instead of my bet because I knew I will never be an expert on sports betting due to my limited time for sports analysis.

However, I’m not betting for profit alone so I’m not using tipster on my bet that I done on very limited basis since that’s my own way to enjoy sports betting.

In short, I follow myself but there are times that I make use of prediction sites which can also be referred to as tipsters also or be regarded to be part of tipsters, but I do not just make use of them blindly and I only make use of the free ones and not paid ones. After checking the match on the sites, I still also confirmed the pick myself by my own analyses. All I still know is that betting is just about luck as you can follow tipsters or follow your own analyses or follow both and still be losing.

Own pick. There’s no point on using tipster if you don’t enjoy what you are doing with your bet especially gambling. I’d rather lose my bet with my own analysis rather than use someone else prediction which I don’t have fun just to come up with that.

As long as I know, there is absolutely no betting tips that can be trusted instead, take them as options to give it some try if it would work better and profitable for you than the rest of the strategies that failed you.

So it is ideal that no matter how prophetic the tipsters may pose in convincing you with their betting skills, always have it at the back of your mind that you would still have two options on your bet (s) when you follows their tips which is a 50/50 possibilities to loose or win.

However, only those desperate to make profits follows the tipster otherwise, gambling as a game of entertainment is more fun when you create your own tips.

Even the tipsters are hoping to be lucky just like you are, depending on them for results to me sounds like some kind of risk, just like their name tipsters, you could get some tips from them and add with the knowledge you got already and see what you can make of it and I believe you will stand a better chance than chasing after a temporary result that was gotten with a few lucky week and may later not be able  to be replicated thereafter. If you continue to develop yourself, you will get to a point where you will not have to depend on these tipsters for even the tips or Insight for yor selection.

Honestly there are tipster who are really profitable in long term and they actually have data on their bets but personally I would like to pick my own bets for a few reasons. First, I only bet on the matches that I really want and watch for instance, certain Esports games like Dota 2 and CS:GO and some NBA matches especially during the morning. Second reason is that those tipster don't just give their bets for free and you need to subscribe to them, which I personally don't want, I'll just use it to place bet instead of paying it to them, not only I would have extra budget for betting but also would help me improve my analysis.

Blindly trusting others' predictions isn't a good idea. To me, the most logical approach is to combine the two. If you do your own analysis on a match suggested by someone you trust and feel confident about it, then you can go ahead and place your bet. Those that follow tipsters are gambling solemnly for profit and in the long run, they will be disappointed because gambling is unpredictable and a game of luck. If you pay a tipster, you wouldn't enjoy the fun in gambling because your emotions will overshadow your thoughts.

I trust myself although I sometimes using tipsters to place my bet and if I am too lazy to search for the information. But I can't say much who show profit in the long run as we need luck in gambling.

Without luck, you will difficult to win even if you followed popular tipsters. They can't always right with their prediction so you should just calm down. Just bet as usual and let the outcome show whatever if that is win or lose.

Well, that's good but doing it in your own way is good, as you will be sure of what you are doing and following tipsters might cause you loss and you will be the one to take responsibility of your action but its essential to know that betting is a gamble, betting responsibly should be the goal, such as having limits to your gambling attitude, knowing when to quit and betting with the amount you can't easily let go.

Whenever i do make my picks then i would be that basing on my own picks based up with my own analysis, but there are some instances that whenever i do see some invformation or analysis from other tipsters that i might able to consider out or might that changed up a bit with my own analysis. So changes would really be that depending on you when making up such changes because it would be that up into your own discretion. Tipsters often display selective records highlight winning periods and underreport drawdowns unless their full historical data including losing runs stake sizing and closing line value is transparent it is impossible to evaluate whether they truly have an edge or just experienced positive variance. Following someone blindly also removes accountability when losses come frustration builds faster because the decision was outsourced not owned this often leads to emotional reactions and switching tipsters repeatedly which compounds losses.

I trust myself very much more than any tipster in gambling, I don't make use of prediction sites, only what I do is to read some sports news and updates and get familiar with the current happenings within the sector, once you can know your capacity and trust your delivery ability in gambling and the game of your choice you play more often, then I don't see a reason why you should not be able to afford setting up your game by yourself.

I've never followed tipsters for once, the only experience I had about tipsters are from friends sharing their experience, at first it's always good but later things turn bitter.

There is not much of a difference if you do the job yourself, do some analysis if necessary and hope for a better luck, do it responsible and know that gambling should be for fun of it, not a source of income.

It is not about the trust because in the end gambling yourself won't make much difference but I prefer making the calls myself, if I get lucky I will feel different instead of relying on someone's call.

Using tipsters isn't bad but if you are asked to pay for their services it's not worth it.

Trusting your own picks is much better than relying on tipsters provisions when it's ultimately not certain what the outcome could still be. At least with my own picks by my analysis of what the games could go by I would be able to know my range of bet to risk on the game. Tipsters games usually follows with hypes that the gambler may not even know how shallow or deep to go in making his stakes.
