AbstractBricsCoin is a decentralized SHA-256 Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency designed for the post-quantum era.
The protocol combines the battle-tested security model of Proof-of-Work with a full quantum-resistant cryptographic stack based on ML-DSA-65 signatures, ring signatures, stealth addresses and zk-STARK proofs.
Unlike most cryptocurrencies, privacy in BricsCoin is mandatory and enforced directly at consensus level.
Nodes reject blocks containing transactions that do not include valid privacy proofs.
Key properties:
• SHA-256 Proof-of-Work (ASIC compatible)
• Maximum supply 21,000,000 BRICS
• No premine — fair launch
• Post-quantum signatures (ML-DSA-65)
• Mandatory private transactions
• zk-STARK amount hiding
• Ring signatures (32-64 decoys)
• Hash-based stealth addresses
• Deflationary burn fee model
Technical SpecificationsAlgorithm: SHA-256 Proof-of-Work
Consensus: Nakamoto Consensus
Protocol Version: v3
Max Supply: 21,000,000 BRICS
Initial Block Reward: 50 BRICS
Halving Interval: 210,000 blocks
Target Block Time: 600 seconds
Difficulty Adjustment: automatic per-block algorithm
Transaction Lanes: 4 parallel lanes per block
Uncle Blocks: supported (25% reward for uncle miners)
Transaction Fee:
0.000005 BRICS (burned)
Signature Algorithms
Primary: ML-DSA-65 (post-quantum)
Compatibility: ECDSA fallback
Mandatory Privacy ModelEvery user transaction includes:
• PQC Ring Signatures (Dilithium + Merkle)
• Hash-based stealth addresses
• zk-STARK range proofs
• SHA-256 commitments
Sender → hidden inside ring set
Receiver → one-time stealth address
Amount → encrypted commitment
No plaintext sender or amount is ever stored on-chain.
Privacy is enforced directly at the consensus layer.
MiningBricsCoin uses the same SHA-256 algorithm as Bitcoin, enabling compatibility with the global ASIC mining ecosystem.
Supported mining software:
CGMiner
BFGMiner
NerdMiner
Mining Modes:
SOLO Pool
PPLNS Pool
Protocol: Stratum v1
On-Chain ApplicationsBricsCoin provides an ecosystem of blockchain applications:
• BNS — Brics Name Service (.brics domains)
• E2E encrypted wallet messaging
• BricsChat on-chain messaging
• Time Capsule (time-locked data storage)
• Document notarization
• BRCPQ token creation system
• PQC smart contracts (Escrow / Multisig / Timelock)
• AI Oracle network analytics
