Abstract

BricsCoin is a decentralized SHA-256 Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency designed for the post-quantum era.

The protocol combines the battle-tested security model of Proof-of-Work with a full quantum-resistant cryptographic stack based on ML-DSA-65 signatures, ring signatures, stealth addresses and zk-STARK proofs.

Unlike most cryptocurrencies, privacy in BricsCoin is mandatory and enforced directly at consensus level.

Nodes reject blocks containing transactions that do not include valid privacy proofs.

Mandatory Privacy Model

Every user transaction includes:

• PQC Ring Signatures (Dilithium + Merkle)
• Hash-based stealth addresses
• zk-STARK range proofs
• SHA-256 commitments

Sender → hidden inside ring set
Receiver → one-time stealth address
Amount → encrypted commitment

No plaintext sender or amount is ever stored on-chain.

Privacy is enforced directly at the consensus layer.

BricsCoin uses the same SHA-256 algorithm as Bitcoin, enabling compatibility with the global ASIC mining ecosystem.
