Building a strong community is crucial, because we need to move together to enable us survive this SEC 2026 regulations.

Here are four ways which we can build a community let discuss. And this are ways for us to connect, educate ourselves and also to grow together:

1. Organizing Meetups(Both Online and Outside)

Let's come together once in a while, We need to stop meeting only online. The Plan is that let come with and idea to organize Sats and Suya hangout in different cities like Abuja, Lagos and also Port Harcourt. This shouldn’t be something that Big or that too expensive hall or conferences but something minimum-of 10 to 20 individuals in a very safe place or cafe talking about how to grow , security, tax and our hardware wallets. All this face to face will help to fight out scams and allot of shits,and also help us to grow.

2.Online Groups Discussion

Online groups for discussion is really important. One whole group for everything is really confusing like serious. We need different groups for different goals and purposes, let there be provision of different groups like that of a DCA/NCA strategy, for Security, for Hardware and also for a Merchant Adoption. Breaking of all this into different category will really save allot of time and making it easy to find that particular help needed at that time.

3.Local Businesses Collaboration

We need not to only cash out to Naira but rather we need to spend Bitcoin also. We should all do well by encouraging ourselves even our own local barbers, chemists/ pharmacists, supermarkets and lot more of our local shops to accept Bitcoin using Lightning Network for low fees. Let all imagine it if we can all use out profit from Sats stacking to buy our groceries and any other things needed. We can do well by helping those businesses to open a simple wallet being it Blink or wallet of Satoshi

4.Sharing of Resources and Success Stories

Let us do well by encouraging ourselves by sharing the Wins and the Lessons. Let say u use Bitcoin to start a business or you use Bitcoin to build up a house or wedding. In this modern and very digital world, online meetings have almost taken over many areas that has always been strictly for offline gatherings. There are various challenges that could make this your suggestion very unworkable, factors like;

1) Security situation of the country: How do you guarantee safe arrival of everyone who you want to convene for an offline meeting where you wish to discuss on how to promote bitcoin? Our roads are no longer safe and not everyone can afford flights, not like anyone will sponsor the conference.

2) Possible exposure to scam: Gathering people together for such conference may make some people who have their ulterior motives to sell some ideas leading to scam to successfully disseminate the ideas to a group of digitally inclined economists.

3) Risk of arrest by security agencies: Anyone attending such meetings may get arrested because cryptocurrency is not completely backed by our local law. So why will you go and enter their hand and they will now come and call you yahoo Yahoo people.

4) In this Nigeria I have been in, there's no meeting you will have whether offline or online that the government will shift from any tax you are supposed to pay.

This is a nice idea that would have been fashionable if we were still at the early stages when bad actors have not started targeting Bitcoiners for attacks. I still remember seeing some post here about people making effort to spread the word about Bitcoin and that actually made lots of people to know about Bitcoin. I think we have come to the stage where people should be more careful with anything relating to Bitcoin. Privacy should be of priority rather than physical meetups. I'm not saying that physical meet ups are bad but considering that identifying as a Bitcoin holder is posing some security threat, then caution should be applied.

Having a physical meetup is actually not a bad idea, since it will enable us gets to know each other physically and share ideas regarding the use of Bitcoin and the best strategies in maximizing profits in the various aspects of Bitcoin, such as p2p trading, and other methods that might be new and yet not popular among the public. Which will be a good development. But however, lets not forget that there are some individuals who may not want to reveal their identity due to personal reasons best known to them.

People have been doing that long before now by sharing their success stories on both the local board and the general Bitcoin discussion board. So it is literally not new anymore. But however, there is still rooms for others to still share their respective stories if their may have been new updates on ways to make money or profit from Bitcoin.
