I know NFTs have been in "winter mode" for quite a while, but as with anything in crypto, there's a chance of a comeback in the long run. We've seen how AI-generated images (often proclaimed as art) have been taking the world by storm.

But what if someone turns AI-generated art into NFTs? Will it become viral? Or will it be just another passing fad like the NFT craze of user-made digital art? Also, what are the legal implications of doing such a thing? Will the person selling AI-generated art for profit be accused of copyright infringement (assuming the AI used copyrighted content)?

Because its done for now and many people tries to avoid to invest due to lots of scam happening. So expect low noises about this and we can conclude that the same  with ICO also other thing they introduce NFT is partly dead as of the moment.

But for me its better to stay away if there's another shot with those NFT, since same scamming situation will just going to happen again. Much better for those people to spend their money on potential alts than wasting their money and energy with those NFT scams.

Before the AI generated contect there are dozen of generated NFT with only minor move or traits or you could easily say there is usually minor different between 1 and second nft, just take a look the big NFT name like azuki pudy or bored ape they look the same in my opinion.

dont made at me but NFT just hype and now is gone with AI generated content I dont believe this gonna be the next big things, because simply everyone can made it with use of a prompt. I dont really hate NFT because their tech is really good IMO

If there is any NFT which should be worth good and real money, it should be something which is rare and can not easily be recreated by something else. If AI is to be used, then there is no need to sell it on the market, as anyone could also use the same AI to recreate it, people might like the idea as it will be a new way for people with the upper hand to milk those who are always rushing into something, it will all be hyped based price kind of thing.

Nah, NFTs are done. There’s no hype anymore. They’re just like some alts that won’t recover even in a bull run. Even more so if they’re AI generated, it’s not appealing and feels like there’s nothing special about them. I’d rather take the risk and buy Pokemon or One Piece cards instead. Also, why buy one if you can make it yourself, right? Others would probably think the same. AI generated NFTs or not, the NFT era is over. There's no what if.

You think? Many said the same about "meme" coins, only for them to make a comeback. Dogecoin was thought to be long lost and forgotten, only to experience a resurgence in interest/hype from a few influencers (mainly Elon Musk and the "Wall Street Bets" mania). Who's to say NFTs won't make a comeback?

While I admit NFTs are more speculative than utilitarian, that doesn't mean it's "game over" for good. I believe the main reason they've been a "failure" it's because their content is not permanently stored on the Blockchain. What's stored on the Blockchain is proof of ownership (metadata) of a specific NFT. All of the content is stored on centralized servers which can easily "vanish" if taken down. But storing images (compressed) on the Blockchain? It would be a game-changer. Imagine buying an NFT (whenever in the form of digital art, or in-game items) and still having it in your wallet no matter how much time it has passed. It will be forever in the Blockchain. A solution such as "Arweave" might be ideal.

AI-generated content is cool, but I believe it has gone too far. Profiteers might take advantage of this and sell their AI-generated art as a form of NFT through NFT marketplaces. Whenever buyers will purchase such a thing or not, it's yet to be seen. Just my two sats

Not really. NFT's are gone, they are dead, they are not getting any attention anymore and they will not get any attention anytime soon. So it doesn't matter if it's AI or not, it doesn't matter what kind of approach you take with it, eventually it will be nothing yet again. So that is why there is no reason why we should be considering ever to invest into any NFT ever again.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you will end up with some NFT investment chance, just run away from it if possible.

Absolutely true. The glory days of NFTs seem to be over. While many people used to succeed with NFTs the opposite is true now. Moreover, with AI NFTs will certainly have no value at all, as they are essentially images or videos that carry a unique digital ownership certificate on the blockchain. So, with AI the scarcity aspect will no longer exist, as AI-generated NFTs lack uniqueness and core value.

Furthermore, AI-generated NFTs lack copyright and originality and I also think buyers will dislike AI-generated NFTs. Furthermore, the NFT market is currently quiet, even if it seems dead. Adding to this is the proliferation of AI-generated NFTs, which will undoubtedly be difficult to sell even if the market rebounds.

I agree, just because AI-generated NFTs are a trend doesn't mean they'll last. We need to think about whether they'll have real value in the long run.

Investing in them could be risky, especially with scammers taking advantage of the hype. We've already seen NFT's shoot up in price, then crash to almost nothing. It's best to be cautious and avoid making the same mistakes.

I knew we will get to that point because AI can be very creative and right now X is awashed with AI generated graphics. As people have found a way of creating NFT through AI, we should expect the inrernet space to be littered by different projects in that line. One thing is certain that people will lose money from this after they have been hyped.

And to avoid losing money like many have done back when the NFT was still trending, the best thing to do is to avoid investing in such projects. What's being sold out there is hype and not something real which could be used out there by anyone to solve a problem, especially now that AI has made duplicating things way more easy.

No NFT ever had any value at all, never did, never will be. The fact is that people just missed the idea that an image doesn't hold any value, a coin doesn't neither in reality, bitcoin is only as valuable as you are willing to pay for it, if the whole world decided tomorrow that bitcoin is not worth this much, we would all sell and crash the price, and that's why many invested into NFT because if we do not do it for btc, then we may not do it for NFT as well. They were wrong, hence why they are gone now.

I personally never seen a useful use case for NFTs. From the beginning until now NFTs have been nothing more than speculative toys for their owners while those deploying them have merely used them as a way to fleece people out of their money. And so far the NFT hype hasn’t lasted very long it all fizzled out all at once. And that’s what makes me think it’s all just speculation. As for NFT creators who use AI it just seems like there’s no seriousness in the creation process. And such creations aren’t worth looking at because they appear to have no value. As for the legal standpoint using someone else’s artwork for commercial purposes is a clear violation. And as for NFTs generated by AI they may not be copyrighted. But even so the process itself raises questions about the seriousness of the effort to create an NFT or even about its originality. And this will have a negative impact on its charm. I think that’s a bad idea creating NFTs that way plus if there are no use cases inside.

It will just be the same as to what happened with NFTs. Also, with how easy it is to generate AI pictures nowadays, people can just generate pictures here and there, register it as an NFT and then sell it. It will be oversaturated that majority of them don't have any value at all. A person can just generate a thousand AI pictures, register it as an NFT then sell it.

Some might have a value, but most will not. If this happen, this will be what I call as "Meme coin Mania 2.0" where anybody can just generate their own picture and sell, same thing when anybody can just create their own meme coin then market it to have investor to sell it. Will it become viral? It will be, but for just a short amount of time because let's face it. There will still be investors that will try and buy those AI-generated NFTs for them to resell it, and that's why many investors are losing their money.

Overall, I will not be surprised if there will be people that will try and do this, but I don't think that it will become a mainstream media just like what happened with meme coins when pump.fun became popular.

I believe AI and crypto projects will be the next big thing. They're all dormant right now, but I believe they'll make a big splash when they wake up. AI projects in cryptocurrencies are more tangible than NFTs because they can diversify into many areas. Many of these will come back as services and ways to make life easier, and I believe they'll be great when combined with blockchain infrastructure. For now, we'll wait and see.
