Another issue is not being able to take profit. Just suppose It may found that someone invested in Bitcoin at the beginning of the bull run around $75k. Later it increased to $90k to $100k, then $150k. He waited for more growth but after that the price started to decrease and when he sold it he did not get the right profit. But if they had bought Bitcoin with long-term holding preparation and mentality, then later even after the price increased, he would have been in a profitable condition .

Sometimes the inability to take profit results from greed or unrealistic expectations. Some people when they see exponential moves like this which you have mentioned, they no longer know where and when to stop, they keep raising the bar high up as if they are actually in control of the market and they get to the point where FOMO sets in and they just get stocked there. Except you are looking at a very long term that may cover through two or more cycles, whenever a cycle is rounding up with a bull run as such, always look for exits once you see that unusual break or attainment of an ATH that is far away from the previous because the market is definitely coming back to correct that move it made.
