As far as my observation is concerned, the reason why winning early doesn't make gamblers stop is that they've just started playing, it's still too early to stop, the fun is still there, there's nothing else to do. Of course, there's also the mindset that it's going to be a lucky day and there's still much to win.

I've had gambling sessions which started really good. But should I go home right away after just less than an hour of betting? Less likely, especially if you're with a group. There's so much excitement. You've got more money to bet confidently and without worries. Many times, I ended up going home bringing a smaller win or even losing.

It's possible that if a player starts winning and wants to keep winning, that's what can lead to losing a lot of money. I say that if I start winning and if I win something that I can withdraw, I take advantage of it and do so. Then I would bet with small amounts of money and continue playing, but not so much that I would bet what I've already won, because then I wouldn't be accomplishing anything. You shouldn't let yourself be carried away by those emotions, you have to take advantage of the money you win.
