The world facing different challenges is all because of the old fashioned set of leaders in power all over the world now, I dont know if I will say there decisions are made because they wont be alive in years to come to face the consequences of there actions, because if not so how on earth will a man wake up in a bright morning and see conflicts as the only means of showing superiority to others or is it the once where they end up stealing the countries resources just to be rich.
All this are getting out of hand, every blessed day innocent people lose there lifes to the conflict or war caused by one single person that believes that war is the only way for the world to know or hear about him.
I think its the right time all should start learning from our mistakes so next time young leaders with vision will be elected instead of this same set that finds pleasure in the sorrow of citizens.

I'm afraid there’s nothing the youths and young people can do about the chaos the world has been thrown into by these so-called old world leaders and this is because of the way the system has been designed. There have been instances where the youths(millennials) have spoken up against bad governance and bad decisions that these so-called old men leaders have made and how it affects the people but their opinions later end up being suppressed and made irrelevant while some even get threatened and harassed then they get discouraged and decide that their life is more important than speaking against the corruption and bad decisions that these old men politicians make and to be honest I don’t blame them ,most of us just want to survive rather than trying to fight for a lost cause and getting harmed in the process because at the end of the day, no one really cares.

Let me add charisma, yea charisma has being one of many other reasons some of this Gen_Zs are cheering some of these old cargos of leaders that have turned the whole world looking like a battle ground for their own private interests which they cloak it as though all they're doing is for the interest of the whole society. A young man in his early 20's can just admire and cheer at an orange pink head shape man doing nonsense because he likes the way he talks  and act, and command obedience by coercion

I agree with you, old men shouldn't be the world leaders because first of all, they are old, they are about to leave the world soon and they are not on touch with the modern generation. Even though they have a more experience, they are outdated, their world is different compared to the world of the rest of the population. A 80 years old man shouldn't be deciding the future of a 0-50 years old people.
Also, since they have nothing to lose because the death will knock on their door soon, they don't care about anything. For them, war is like a chess but in real life and they get high from it. Playing chess on the chess board is boring but playing chess with real human flesh gives them a high.

Those who support them into these wars, are just brainwashed people. Sadly, the level of education is very low around the world and it's done intentionally to keep people stupid.

This is indeed a sad reality. Many nations are governed by the worst set of people. My country is ruled by an individual convicted of drug dealings. He is a well-known criminal who took power through electoral rigging. The US and Israel are also ruled by individuals who have criminal records. So we shouldn't be amazed at their actions and inactions.

One of the problems with citizens is that they tend to forget the record of the past of these politicians so quickly. By the time they come up with their promises during political campaign people just believe them and think they are changed people from the past. The past record of politicians are very important because people dont easily change, especially those who are within the political circles.  Most of these leaders with bad record they were given good support by the people.

It's not all the youths who are supporting these criminals. We have young people who are speaking against these governments. We see that happen in Bangladesh and elsewhere. Those who support these old presidents are either benefiting from the government or ignorant. Those who support leaders based on religion, tribe, or race are idiots.

Majority are in support of leaders like these, that is why they always find their self into power.  The youths are very powerful,  and whenever they come out in masses to go against bad government they are always afraid because the youths are very much powerful,  but one thing about the youth, they are easily distracted which can cause disunity and our leaders understand this, and they use it as a tool.

Governing a country is certainly not easy. Those who do world politics definitely need to think a lot before taking any decision. Older leaders cannot think much before doing anything, which is why if there is a mistake, there are long-term negative effects. In politics, decisions have to be taken after reviewing various issues. That is why a lot of thinking is needed before taking a decision. Although in most countries, elders are being supported without any judgment and analysis in taking decisions, it is definitely a failure of the youth. If a youth takes a decision after reviewing any issue properly, then it certainly has its logic, but currently politics has reached a stage where it is difficult to say anything against the elders. There are many who will follow the elders in taking decisions from the beginning. Whatever they say or instruct to do will be accepted by everyone.

First, we have to understand that being old doesn't make someone a good leader, and being young as well doesn't also make someone a good leader. Just like I said sometime ago_{(can't remember the thread)}, politics is way deeper than we think. Just because you're young and vibrant doesn't mean that the older political cycles would easily make way for you to do your thing. And I can also remember saying that older political people knows well how to play the game. They gain influence, power, money, backings, etc, which makes it easier for themselves to force their way in even while making it look legit. The younger generations don't seek after these things, or they probably don't know how these things works.

It is unfortunate that all we do is about interest and the majority interest seem to override the few small voice. Recently, I watched the video of the US Senate Armed Service Subcommittee and you could see Brain McGinnis reaction and how he was attacked and moved out. The video footage is below.

So that's how the small voices are not heard but only those in the mantle of leadership will choose what they want to do. Some of these wars are avoidable but they are meant for personal vendetta and friendship gains.

That was a very sad experience, he actually broke his wrist in the process and the senators didn't care about it. In terms of war, they're too many underlying structures that can never be boycotted, nobody wants to be at fault, the old men as usual, stand their ground, and care little about the young bloods lost in the war. This war on Iran is already costing so much to the world peace, coupled with the Ukraine war, it's almost a disaster to the world, the heat has tripped in other nations, cost of oil has gone wild, affecting the livelihood of both the young and old.
