Because of sanctions and political pressure, the country has been looking for other ways to trade oil with partners like China and others. This war has given them the perfect opportunity to push that strategy further without scrutiny. By using a selective passage policy, Iran appears to be applying a divide and conquer approach in real time. Some countries like China, India and parts of Europe may still get access to oil routes, while the US and Israel face more restrictions. I guess this is the act of Strait of Hormuz, not the act of the deal.

If this continues, it could create a 2-tier global economy. One group of countries may receive oil at discounted prices, while another group may have to pay premium prices or look for alternative sources. There is also a historical parallel with the 1956 Suez Crisis, when Britain and France were excluded and new trade routes later became permanent. What difference does that make with the current destabilisation going on in their country? Iran must hate the USA and USD further, I understand, but this changes nothing.

As a sovereign nation, what were they afraid of? They were free to have bilateral relationships with the country of their choice, war or not. Some countries have done this long before them, including a G20 country like South Africa. Iran is also a BRICS member, so they have all rights.

I also read some rumor that the United States is planning to use nuclear weapon in a war. But I think it is just fake news, or maybe a psychological tactic or information manipulation aimed at putting pressure on the opponent. Because the use of nuclear weapons is too extreme and the consequences are unpredictable. That could lead to WWIII, and the United States might not survive if nuclear war broke out. I believe they are aware of that as well.

If he uses nuclear weapons, it would only further demonstrate how disastrously the United States has failed in the war. And the use of nuclear weapons would be considered the most cowardly and despicable act.

Personally, I do not believe he would dare use nuclear weapon. Because once that happens, the consequences will be extremely serious, not only for Iran but also for its Gulf allies and the United States itself. I also do not think America's Gulf allies would let him do that.

Yes, that's what I heard. In the event that China introduces the yuan currency instead of the US dollar and opens the way for oil, it has decided to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, keeping China under complete control. However, even in the midst of war, the Strait of Hormuz has sufficient connectivity with various countries around the world, and Iran will not block countries that import oil in Chinese currency.

Then I would say he is stupidest Leader ever. History already knows the aftermath of Nuclear war heads. With the current global position, most of the leading countries got this and it would be disaster if anyone of them use it.

At least we can say that they are trying to threaten the petrodollar, for them it’s simply everything they have against anything that will be of benefits to the US. Yes I know the impact is not going to be easily felt of this but at least they are seeing to be fighting back and not backing down. Personally I think it would be just a small impact because this is where 20% of the oil passes only and not the entirety of the oil.

As for Trump retaliation I do think he can not use his nuclear weapon in this war because of many reasons but purposely because of the reason he is fighting this war.

He does that and suddenly he will help accelerate the plans for WW three. Russia and China will be forced to be a part of the of this if it comes to nuclear weapons. They allowed this oil to pass through not to create a new oil route, it is just to maintain the existing relationships with those countries that are not the allies of US, I don't think Iran is winning this war, it can just prolong the attack and once it ends the things will be as usual but whoever controls their source will not be selling at the same price it usued to be. The current US president is unpredictable. He has proved to have little or no respect for international laws or international treaties. He could decide to use more dangerous weapons on Iran if the war becomes fierce. I don't trust China or Russia to come to the aid of Iran. Nicolás Maduro a close ally of Russia and China was kidnapped and nothing happened.

The dedollarization process has been going on for a long time. BRICS nations have encouraged members States to accept local currencies for trade between members. With the dominance of the US dollars international trade, the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz will have juat minor effect. Other nations have decided to engage in dialogue with Iran to enable their ship to pass through.  Hopefully, this blockage will be over soon.

The reality looks different from my own side, Iran can go ahead and sell their crude oil using any other currency apart from the dollar because of this opportunity they've had, but they should forget about wanting to reduce the influence of the dollar or the De-dollarisation approach they want to bring in. First America has more international influence and more alliance more than them, this is like fighting an Elephant when you are a Honey-badger. Whatever effect you might see on the part of U.S, the one for Iran is three times more.
