Bitcoin The Movie?

Movies have been made about many things before, but the plan to make a movie with Bitcoin is really unique. Whatever the movie, I want to add that all the artists involved in this movie must be paid in Bitcoin. Not only that, everyone from the audience to the theater owners must follow the same system. Satoshi Nakamoto may not have left much information, but with the revolution that will happen in the future, it will be possible to make planty movies. There will come a time when Bitcoin will have an impact on everywhere in the world, such as politics, economics, social and family levels.

Curious if there is any movie about the making of bitcoin? I have only found that one documentary of Finding Satoshi but I will be more interested in watching a movie about the makings of bitcoin itself. Just like The Social Network where it showed how Facebook was made and what events led to one another. I do feel that a movie about bitcoin would make people understand it better and would be entertained in the process.

Which actor do you want to see play as Satoshi if ever?

There isn't much information available about satoshi for anyone to make a movie about him/them. No one knows if satoshi is a person or an organisation or a group whatever so without proper knowledge it's not possible there's a movie. Even if they make a movie on him/them it would be hard for people to accept whatever they showed as true. So IMO I don't think there will be a specific movie on Satoshi but there could be movies on Bitcoin and it being used by people, even it could have a little info about satoshi but that info would be common info that everyone knows like he has vanished and etc. But if they ever made a movie I would like to see an actor completely new just debuting as an already famous actor playing satoshi could have an effect on the image of satoshi by people associating that actor with satoshi.

But it seems they don't want to spend huge in this movie since their plan is build this movie by help of AI Doug Liman’s ‘Killing Satoshi’ Will Shoot Entirely on AI-Generated Stages, No Locations

So I doubt that there's something interesting on that movie they try to produce.

I personally would prefer a take similar to what Stanley Kubrick did with "2001: A Space Odyssey". They never showed the aliens, but it was all implied, they showed their actions, the monolith, etc. Carl Sagan was hired as a consultant for the film, and I think Kubrick made the right choice given his advice.

It's similar to Bitcoin. Satoshi Nakamoto should no be presented as a specific person, instead the movie could show emails, snippets of code, etc, and then focus on the reactions of other people to these things.

Something like that would be way better than just showing any kind of person playing Satoshi.

I think the movie can be made through another person's perspective, making Satoshi a mysterious character.  This is about the Bitcoin movie, how Bitcoin is created, and can be pictured out from known personalities perspective, like the pioneer developers that help out Satoshi in testing BTC, though there is a need to have a lead person here from the pioneer developers, I do not know who is the most fitted one to be the main character and see how Bitcoin promulgated through his angle of perspective.

So, I think the movie can be created perfectly even without exposing Satoshi's identity, after all it is all about the creation and propagation of Bitcoin, the purpose and the hiccups as Bitcoin adoption spreads.

Yes, this has been shown in many movies before where there is an interesting character whose activities are well revealed but he is always kept in the spotlight, if Satoshi Nakamoto is presented in a movie like this then it will be great and the interest in him will increase among the audience. If these topics are highlighted more in such movies like how Satoshi Nakamoto created Bitcoin at that time and from what idea he actually developed the idea of creating Bitcoin or what other developers did at that time then I think it will be more interesting.
It is relatively easy to know the history of Bitcoin since it came to the market until now, but if those unknown topics are brought to the fore through the movie then I think that topic will be more acceptable and better.

It always seems to me that Satoshi Nakamoto must have faced many challenges to create what is currently the most valuable digital currency in the world, and how he actually created this coin and brought it to the market, despite all the odds, should be the main context of the movie.

Joining audience in thinking on objects, such as original paper, bits of code, and shocked answers of early code experts, filmmaker can be able to imagine Satoshi as online stone that remade history of humans without ever having to have real face. On the early years of Cypherpunk, truth is that the world answered to this ideal invention, which was purely unselfish, that main character, Satoshi, never even touched his 1.1 million Bitcoin. It would be very bad idea, in my own opinion, to put human face on Satoshi. So long as he is no one, his creation is part of everyone, and it shows that Bitcoin does not need leader to work.
