Never. You can't ever realize another coin with ALL aspects of bitcoin since the idea is already well known. Easy.
There is no second best (as would say M. Saylor).
Once you will realize this it would probably too late Smiley . You can't have "another bitcoin".
Maybe another concept about money/value/asset etc yes sure we will see again. The same as been for gold, banknote, cash and all instruments for value.

Will there be another or a 'better' bitcoin in 30 years or so?

There is only one Bitcoin, and the good news is that Bitcoin is upgradeable, so there is no need for another Bitcoin to meet future needs. If in case, there is a new form of monetary system, it would not be called Bitcoin nor can be considered another Bitcoin, but a unique system itself.  But is there really a need for another monetary sytem in the next 30 years?  I think no because the world have yet to capitalize the potential of the current emerging monetary system.
I hear that. Why new monetary systems emerged because people saw cracks through the system and right now the challenges arising from bitcoin are still solvable on its own and have not yet gotten to a point where a new one is in need. But advancement is never stationary. It is ever evolving. So it could be a possibility but I see that there hasn't been any successful successor of bitcoin so far.

Finally 2008 was the year that bitcoin was invented. It took almost 30 years since David Chaum's first idea for someone to finally get it right in the form of bitcoin. It may have been even longer. Technology took a long time to come to where it is now and technology may keep developing in the future. Will there be another or a 'better' bitcoin in 30 years or so?

I’m not quite sure how to put this. Okay, here’s the thing: historically speaking, Bitcoin wasn’t the first of its kind, but its creation marked the first tangible proof of the internet’s existence.
30 years is no short time. I believe there are signs that something is being prepared that could surpass Bitcoin’s greatness, but so far many have tried and none have truly surpassed Bitcoin. I think that even if there were, it wouldn’t be a coin.

I believe Bitcoin worked, unlike the previous attempts, because it has come in the right time when internet was being widely spread around the globe. In previous decades, adoption was low, because third world countries still struggled to have access to internet. And considering the decentralized nature of Bitcoin, third world countries would be the most fertile areas for Bitcoin to be adopted, because people there would need Bitcoin for survival reasons, much more than citizens from first world countries where economy is more stable.

Now, thinking on what is coming next it's hard to predict, because Bitcoin supplies all the demands of the current market we have. There is no need for a new Bitcoin, or something superior to it yet. Within time, this may change, as new demands are likely to appear among investors and the public in general. But until there, Bitcoin will remain rulling the universe of digital decentralized finances.

It will be hard to think of something better outside of cryptocurrency, as Bitcoin revolutionized how internet/electronic currency should really function.
Whatever that could be made better and unique would need to more decentralized, secure, freer, faster, non-blockchain based, etc. Could be a consistently light-weight peer-to-peer deflationary currency system anyone can run as node on their smartphone.

I believe a better currency would still sound like Bitcoin even without Blockchain, because the principles Bitcoin is built on will still need to be adopted as they are common sense principles based on basic rights. Excluding one or more would make the future currency less superior to Bitcoin regardless of how fast and convenient it is. The better currency will need to include more necessary principles without compromising on security, decentralization and speed.

No one can limit us because new projects can be developed by anyone, but creating a project like Bitcoin is completely impossible because not all coins can perform what Bitcoin does. Technology is indeed evolving, but its uses can vary and it's difficult to replicate a well-developed project because there will never be a next Bitcoin. Bitcoin's ability to progress so far is quite proven and many now see it as a hedge like gold. Bitcoin is indeed speculative, but if held long-term, the intended hedge will be much more visible making it difficult for another project to emerge to become the next Bitcoin and I don't think that's possible.

If some body comes up with a technology that allows Decentralization with out requiring a permanent Internet connection at all
I don't think that is possible. We only have this scale of decentralization because we are using the fastest means of communication possible. You can't have decentralization without any communication. The longer you are not part of the communication the higher the chance that you are somehow separated completely or manipulated from the current state of things, that is why we focus on permanent internet connection. Anyway with the interconnection of the world and increasing internet speeds and infrastructure, why would we want to aim for this at all? What is the benefit of not requiring permanent internet connection going to be in some future time where everyone has at least 1 Gbps unlimited fiber with 99.9 percent uptime? I don't get it.

which has an incredibly small Ledger
There are some projects that have been working on this, maybe even some shitcoins released publicly if I remember well but it always comes with disadvantages. This is a space where you can't do something like that without any cost. The different model will have completely different security assumptions and will not be able to provide some of the features that Bitcoin does.

and can transfer with zero Fees
Also exists or existed, or at least with near zero fees and each shitcoin like that has failed. A system that has no fees has no spam protection at all or it will have to denigrate back to some centralized level of control and rules.

or run with out even requiring Miners at all,
It exists, POS and its variants and all of them are basically scams.

or any other such feature while still preserving every feature of Bitcoin then yes, I believe we will witness a 'next Bitcoin'.  And I am sure some people are working really hard currently on modelling just that.
It is not possible to artificially create characteristics that have evolved naturally. Almost 99.9 percent of the new projects have been started by centralized teams either as companies or foundations or worse single random founders as with tokens, so even with that it is already not possible at all. None of those can ever become even close to Bitcoin even if they managed to evolve the technology by thousands of years from what it is today. They are centralized and pretending otherwise won't make them decentralized.

I believe however that you are thinking about the wrong thing.  I do not think it has to be a competition to take Bitcoin over or to put it down.  I have a strong belief that these people working on a 'next Bitcoin' are in fact Cypherpunks trying to conquer Freedom better than even Bitcoin allows us to.  Because as you can clearly see, there is Know Your Customer, there are laws against it in some countries, it still depends on an Internet connection in most situations et cetera.  Authorities found ways to make it and its users semi compliant.
If they were real cypherpunks they would be working to improve Bitcoin directly and not start their next money grabbing shitcoin scam like many have. Please don't provide excuses for such entities, no matter what PR stuff they do their motivations are clear. Those that support decentralization would work on improving Bitcoin. Those that are greedy and money oriented first are those that have started tens of thousands of layer 1 and layer 2 chains that did not advance the space at all. With the exception of a few altcoins that did not raise any money, everything else was done purely for the sake of enriching the founders.

The history reveals that Bitcoin didn't just suddenly appear. It was created on ideas earlier from people such like David Chaum, Wei Dai, and projects like DigiCash, E-gold, and B-money. These early trials gave room for concepts that are important like digital payments, privacy and peer-to-peer money, yet they are struggling with centralization, regulation or even adoption.

Bitcoin majorly succeeded because it settled the issues of key by mixing decentralization, cryptography and incentives for partakers. Whether a Bitcoin that is better will continue to exist in the future is possible, yet Bitcoin's first-mover benefit, effect of solid network, and international trust make it hard for other system to replace it so easily.

Yea, that is a fact. If it were easy for Bitcoin to be replaced, the numerous altcoins we have now would have comfortably replaced it, but that hasn't been possible. Because Bitcoin was designed to improve over the years, it will continue to enjoy the first-mover advantage. The problem would have been if there was no room for Bitcoin to improve its system. It will be rare for any new technology, no matter how good, to completely outsmart Bitcoin.

Yes of course, Bitcoin domination has a secret no developer has to reveal, which certainly make them outstanding today, if it was easy, then other altcoin would've beat them long time enough. The designation of Bitcoin is overly important and makes it more unique that no other altcoin could supersede them anyway.

It's more than just decentralization and transparency as people may say, it's smartness in the digital world makes it used for several purposes.

The story of how humans has tried their best to create something like Bitcoin that will give people their privacy has come a long way because, there has been several attempts in the past but, but they all failed. And I believe that Satoshi while trying to build Bitcoin had to look back and look at the areas that these different person's who had tried something similar to Bitcoin had gotten it wrong. Bitcoin is unique because it beat all these other once because, Bitcoin give people the right to self custody which was missing in the other previous attempts.
