In some news, Iran emphasized that it only opened the Strait of Hormuz to countries that are not allied with America, so it is clear that the Strait of Hormuz is still not open to the public, I also read the latest news that ships belonging to China and India have passed through this strait, and I understand why Iran took this step, but with the great risks that still arise, some ships do choose to avoid it for safety.

And because of Iran's ally, China, they want to get paid in Chinese Yuan and not with US dollars. This is probably the condition that China asked them since both countries are helping each other. Maybe China is helping them through arms and funding whilst for Iran, they're giving them help economically through the oil that's being sent to them in millions of barrels. I just hope with that announcement, it's a real deal and they're going to make sure that each countries that are not allied to their enemies will be allowed to pass through the Strait.

Iran knows that they hold an advantage in the war with passage through the Strait of Hormuz. I know that Donald Trump has threatened that there would be consequences if they attack vessels attempting to cross, but that is not going to change anything, as no vessel would be willing to take that risk.

In a war, every party plays to their strength. Iran knows they cannot match the U.S. in terms of firepower, but they can drag this on for a longer time and cause global economic hardship. The U.S. would want to end this war as soon as possible, but i am not so sure how possible that is right now, since the Iranian regime do not look like surrendering.

Trump is now calling on the allies of the US to help protect vessels that will pass through the Strait of Hormuz. His intention is to reduce the advantage Iran has since the country can hold the world to ransom by blocking that important area. But he fails to understand that Iran are masters of that area. They are aware that the Strait of Hormuz is an important bargaining advantage so they might have planted or installed several explosives that might be difficult to detect.

The best option for all parties is to come to the dialogue table and embrace peace. The consequences of this war are becoming too costly for the global economy.

I think that they'd do that but because of who's the real character now which is Iran. They're the ones who's setting the conditions and they're going to do whatever they can even it's exploding vessels and aircraft carriers. While its neighbors don't want that to happen, they can negotiate and so they set a condition of disposing ambassadors or representatives of USA and Israel. If a country that's able to do that, they'll let them pass. But we'll have to wait for further reports if they're making that happen or it's just all talk and media PRs.

Although the statement sounds quite positive, it is still unclear whether they will stick to it, because they could say one thing today, and then do the opposite tomorrow. So I think the Iranian prime minister's statement does not provide any certainty to ships that will pass through the Strait of Hormuz, and most ships will definitely not take the risk of passing through the Strait especially when Iran is increasing their fleet in these waters.

Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi, said on Telegram that the strait “is open to everyone, except American ships and those of its allies.”

US is demanding for their ships and that of Israel's or other allies to be passed through the strait but Iran is standing on their ground. This might anger US even further and since they have threatened to further cause destruction in Iran, we might not see this war end soon. If the strait was opened, this could offer some relief for other countries not really part of this war. But will it really be successful? Can they really pass through the strait with this chaos ongoing?

Even with this statement, it still feels that we are stuck doomed and keep expecting oil prices to keep rising.

Everything just look uncertain rn..  Even if the US is demanding access, it does not mean it will happen smoothly. Iran clearly is not ready to step back anytime soon..

And with all this tension around that area, even if ships try to pass, the risk is still there…. That is why the market is already reacting. Once oil starts getting affected way more than this, prices will keep going up… and it is normal people that will still feel the pressure..

How long do you think this will last? Iran should look for other strategy to fight this war and allow the free flow oil vessels. I don't like their strategy of keeping the entire world hostage because of this war. But one thing am sure is that the US and other countries that are affected will not fold their arms for long and watch Iran continue to restrain movements within the Strait of Hormuz. They are suffering people unnecessarily. Both people that support the war and those that doesn't support are suffering. Closing the Strait of Hormuz is not helping them win the war either. Nobody is saying don't fight your war, but trying to hold the entire world to hostage is what I don't like.

Where was the world when the United States splashed sanctions on Iran, I mean they've done this for the past 45 years. What do you even know about suffering?! You better go look up what the US government are doing to Cuba right now, educate yourself and don't take sides with those against humanity, funding genocide, and splashing heavy sanctions and suffocating nations who provided aid to the world during tough phase. I think it's high time they listen to the demands of iran. It also shows they've lost the war, you mean the great world police can not have the strait opened?!  Smiley

Negotiation and a ceasefire agreement are not only the best option but also the only way to end war in this day and age. But the question is, who will be the first to compromise and begin that process?

Iran is the country that was attacked, and they are only defending themselves. They cannot stop firing first because there is no guarantee that the enemy will stop attacking them afterward. Meanwhile, a superpower like the United States will not back down for fear of losing face in front of the world. Therefore, it is difficult to see how negotiations can begin under the current circumstances.

In some news, Iran emphasized that it only opened the Strait of Hormuz to countries that are not allied with America, so it is clear that the Strait of Hormuz is still not open to the public, I also read the latest news that ships belonging to China and India have passed through this strait, and I understand why Iran took this step, but with the great risks that still arise, some ships do choose to avoid it for safety.
other countries that can pass through the strait will be able to take advantage of the situation. they can be the ones to supply oil to other countries who can’t pass through the strait. there has to be some kind of compromise or the rest of the world will be in danger.

and I have also heard that they are opening the Strait of Hormuz on the condition that trade transactions be made in Chinese currency instead of dollars.

There is no way US will accept that condition for the opening of strait because that is gradual relinquishing of power to China. Currency is a powerful mechanism to control and lead the world, giving it up just like that won't be easy. Although the area is still blocked for US and her allies, US is being careful not to cause more damage to the world by not using force in the area as it will affect those countries that are already seen as US allies from the middle east.

Therefore, it is difficult to see how negotiations can begin under the current circumstances.
Countries like China or Germany could mediate between the warring parties and a ceasefire could be accepted. It is not hidden that the US underestimated the strength of Iran. Trump thought he could easily deciminate Iran within short period. Now they want assistance from other nations. This war is costing the US so much that Trump had started losing the supports even his close associates. A ceasefire will be beneficial for both parties.

The Strait of Hormuz is open to tankers from China and other Iranian supporters. But for the ships of the United States and its allies, missiles and drones are flying in the Strait. That is, it is not a blockade. Those countries that want to get oil need to choose a side in the conflict. Since such conditions of passage through the Strait as the expulsion of ambassadors and even more so the payment for oil in yuan are the choice of a party to the conflict.

It is not yet clear what the revenge of the United States will be on those countries that choose oil. But on the other hand, the price of an alliance with the United States is obvious, since at the moment the US Gulf allies have their economies destroyed (it is possible that forever)...

No, it is not open and you've answered your own question in the first line of the post. Let's remember that just two weeks ago the whole region was operating normally until Israel and America attacked Iran out of the blue. Any nation on earth would rightly use whatever tools they have available to defend themselves from unwarranted aggression and that is exactly what Iran is doing. America hasn't even defined what they are seeking or what outcome will get them to stop attacking, Trump is a walking disaster for the world right now who is simply trying to distract from the Epstein files. The whole situation is a gigantic clusterfuck and the longer America/Israel keep attacking the longer fuel prices will go up along with inflation. There seems to be no stated goal or aim for hostilities to subside right now, both these senile older leaders are just trying to cling on to their political careers.

Now with this in mind, can we now speculate that the oil prices will likely increase more and more and would never likely cease soon? America and Israel will soon find a casus belli, and all the heinous crimes they did in the Middle-East will become justified for the sole reason of "world peace".

Donald Trump claimed that they have neutralized 100% of Iran's military power but what i don't understand is why he called on the countries that got affected as a result of the closure of the strait of hormuz to send their War Ships in order to ensure that the strait of hormuz is open and safe for tankers to pass through. If truly they have destabilized Iran's military why can't they just send their War Ship alone instead of trying to involve the other countries. I think there is actually something that Donald Trump is afraid of but doesn't want to say it out.
Lol, you're speaking as though you don't know Trump anymore, he's such a big talker even in the face of serious adversaries. Of course Iran military has been neutralized to a good extent but they find a way of still striking Israel and attacking ships that attempt to cross the strait of Hormuz which shows that they're still having some good level of competence despite suffering damages and loses.

The problem now is that the Strait isn't safe to pass, even if you're not a US ally, you might be in their definition and you'll be attacked. Besides, a good number of countries whose oil are passing through that narrow corridor has alliance with the US, so it's as good as only open to those actively supporting Iran.
