I completely agree that the media and social media are platforms for spreading narratives, propaganda, and fake news. We can explore the reasons for this outside the scope of this topic - there’s plenty to discuss there.
But! A rational person must exercise critical thinking to avoid falling victim to manipulation. Any fact can and should be verified using multiple sources in order to form a more or less accurate picture.
And regarding the strait:
Tehran, through its foreign minister, stated that it is ready to fully open the strait to shipping and resume negotiations on the nuclear program within 7 days. To this end, Iran has set three conditions for the U.S.:
1. Lifting of the U.S. naval blockade.
2. Lifting of sanctions against Iranian oil.
3. Compliance with a ceasefire, which must also extend to Lebanon.
What does this tell us?
1. The U.S. naval blockade of the Strait has proven to be very painful for the IRGC junta.
It turns out that if you respond in kind, the terrorists start squealing and begging for a deal. It’s a shame the whole world doesn’t understand this and doesn’t act the same way.
2. The IRGC’s cries of "we’re not afraid of the blockade" are just as ridiculous as the squeals from another terrorist-backed country: "Sanctions only benefit us"
3. This is a blatant attempt to preserve their terrorist groups in the region - not for the sake of peace, but to save them and continue using them.
I’ve always been amazed by people who fail to grasp the simplest things—like the true nature of Iran’s leadership. They are nothing but primitive savages, utterly devoid of anything human or rational. They remain stuck in the Middle Ages, living by the laws of a distant past where their barbaric actions are considered the norm.
I won’t deny that closing the strait would be highly detrimental to Iran itself. If the regime is so worried about it, the stakes must be incredibly high.
And what do they need that oil for, anyway? They should be developing electric vehicle production. Or is that not part of the agenda for these terrorists—who are ready to physically eliminate anyone championing technological progress and sovereignty? Is that not their style?
How can they be such idiots and fail to realize that the world has changed completely? People already view them as specimens of a dying breed. Don't they find the whole thing repulsive themselves?
If you take a broader view, all these bastard regimes behave in similar ways. They are savages who lack human values, for whom human life means nothing, and whose top priority is absolute power and the right to destroy, rape, plunder, and commit lawlessness - without fear of punishment. Yet at the same time, they blame everyone around them and claim they’re fighting a global conspiracy or enemies - which are always countries with normal laws and governments. Another defining feature of such regimes is their double standards. Even in the context of this topic, terrorist regime of the IRGC blocked the Strait of Hormuz, claiming, "This is a just response". When the U.S. imposes a blockade, that’s "terrorism against Iran"
As experience shows, as soon as you start treating such regimes the same way they treat the rest of the world, they start screaming wildly and accusing their opponents of "inhumanity", even though they were the ones who started it all.
What kind of progress can we even talk about under such regimes? Their goal is precisely to plunge the population into poverty and the Stone Age in order to exercise maximum control over their behavior and thinking. Just look at how much people from Iran are writing about where the regime of religious fanatics and terrorists has led their country - poverty, degradation, a complete lack of any prospects....
P.S. Another mandatory rule of these bastard regimes and their supporters is an extremely primitive yet total lie - or the distortion of cause-and-effect relationships! The good news is that if a person has a brain and a little curiosity, they can easily verify the facts and expose this lie.
A simple example from this thread is the attempt to justify Russia’s terror against Ukraine by citing NATO’s alleged expansion, even though any reasonable person can easily verify this "fact" and see that Ukraine’s IDEA of drawing closer to NATO arose long after Russia began its terror campaign in Ukraine.
