Sports bettor or Casino player

these past few days, I'm more attracted on playing slots. It makes me highly excited every now and then, though I know in the end I will still lose an amount. But I do bet on sports betting also, but it depends on the type of game, and the teams playing behind those games.

Actually, the same happened with me. I was initially a sports guy and I was betting on 365 at that time, because crypto sportsbooks were untested/unpopular or not launched back then. So I was placing sports bets all day long. Sometimes when the balance was running low and it wasn't good enough for a bet, I saw those small icons of casino games and I started playing them.

Then came a time when I was depositing just for the casino and not placing many sport bets. But eventually, after a lot of loss, I made a balance between both but I have to admit, I have made more money from sports betting than I have from the casino. Yes, there are some big wins every now and then but casino eats like crazy and you bet 20-50 cents so it doesn't feel that way but it all adds up.

I've never been a fan of casino games. It has always been sports betting for me. Imo, it is because that was what I was introduced to. I didn't play casino games until after I had joined the forum. The thing is, I don't understand most of the casino games and I've not takien the time to learn. I also don't like the fact that it's only luck-driven unlike sports betting where your analysis skills can tip odds in your favor. These days, I mostly just make bets on Coinroyale.
 

I will choose sports betting over Casino for many reasons I don't have to mention here. When it is sports betting, I know that everything that happens, happened in the pitch where thousands of people are also watching and could be the judge even though they truly are not the judges unlike a casinos where if you are not smart and do not know the tricks and the psychology, you can easily got roasted off your funds.

I've always been more afraid about gambling casinos than the sports betting games because I see gambling casinos as an easy way to make huge money but at the same time the most difficult and risky process to get there. I would rather still to my small stakes on sports bets than playing casino games which will require more funds.

Casino games like playing slots can be very profitable for gamblers and all boils down to how you are able to make profits from gambling which is never easy for gamblers to make profits. Sport betting are most people favorite because the house does not have a edge over them and the outcome of their bets. I am quite surprised by the people who voted for Sports Betting. I did not think it would be so much more popular than casino gambling. I guess I am just one of those people who prefer traditional casino games over sports.

One more thing you could add to your list is whether someone is a gambler on prediction markets rather than casinos or any other gambling platforms.

I feel like that is one thing that is still new enough to be considered a fad.

I actually do BOTH! I do make bets on sports and also doing casino games and everything would really be basing up with my own mood and this is something which i do for years now. First i get fond to play on casino games specially on Dice at the time that crypto gambling had boomed up on which these type of games and on the moment that sports betting was already that available on crypto then i have started on betting on e-games sports on which this is something that i do already at the time that its already accessible in comparing into those traditional bookies but i dont have any hate into it. Its just that accessibility is the best thing when dealing up with crypto based platforms. Now in speaking on which one to choose then it would be that actually depending on the interest and preference of a certain gambler. I am both a slots and a sports bettor depending on mood and timing. When there is NFL Super Bowl going on, I'm definitely a sports bettor that night but when there are no good sports options but I see some cool new releases by Hacksaw, NoLimitcity then I'm a slots guy .

I guess this also keeps me in check that I'm not getting addicted to gambling because my mood dictates rather than the urge to gamble.

From what I have seen, though, more people prefer casinos and specifically games like dice, keno, rather than slots, because people feel they are manipulated, while provably fair games carry a smaller edge and can't be manipulated.

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't know we can edit the poll but it is possible so I added the option. I am also quite surprised with the difference in sports and casino, the sports betting is quite popular because those threads related to sports passed though hundreds and thousand pages but never thought people are bored of casino games, for me it just keep getting better.

Casino player 'cause I particularly like playing only on slots.  As many others have said here, it all boils down to what you enjoy, and for me, it's slots.
I like how a player would only need a small balance, just pull and spin it. It isn't stressful; in fact, it kind of feels like a stress-reliever for me. Plus, some slot games have a killer soundtrack too. 
Of course, with slots, since most of these games are fast-paced, if you're not carefully watching your bankroll, you could end up burning through it a lot faster, so I guess, there's still a little planning when playing those.

Sports betting and casino games are two different things but in most cases I think a bettor participates in both. I do both myself. In most cases, if I bet on my favorite team and then the match is over, I get very excited to play slot games. If I can't play slots, then I can't control myself at that time. It feels like I'm missing something. I won't say that it's my addiction, but those who play casino games must try to play these casino games at some point. Then there are some bettors who are most comfortable with sports betting. They don't like casino games that much. However, the number of such bettors is definitely not large. In my perspective the number of gamblers who play both games is relatively high.

Lately, I've been betting more on sports; honestly, I don't always have enough time to sit down and play slots or crash. With sports, it's easier to have a schedule of games, so I can roughly understand what interests me and which matches I'll watch. I stay far away as possible from anything that relates to casino games because I can’t put myself through that instant rush and that fast pace,  it is just very hard to control yourself when everything is just happening so fast.  It's way too easy to lose control and lose track when everything is happening so quickly, especially for me when something like money is on the line. With sports betting I feel more comfortable and self controlled because it allows me to analyze,  plan and make good decisions. I do both. When there aren't any football matches scheduled, sometimes in my free time I gamble on casino games like poker, roulette, plinko, etc. But I've avoided slot games for the time being. As for which I do more often, it's definitely sports betting because the thrill of betting and watching a game brings a sense of excitement, tension, and anger that I find different from casino games.

There are times when my deposit is meant for sports betting, but I end up using it on slots instead. And you already know the result, I lose everything and have nothing left for sports betting.

Apparently I can do both but I mostly find myself around sports betting, I know we all have different aspects in which we tend to enjoy the moments or get the fun we deserve, usually why some person's get involve with games such as crash, slots and the rest of them cause they find those games exciting and fun, which is why if I have to choose I'll simply go for what I'm comfortable at which is being a sports bettor.

I often gamble on casino games on Stake very well, but that does not mean I will not still bet on the Bayern Munich match against Atlanta tomorrow. I also still bet last week on Arsenal and I will still bet today. There are just some tempting matches that will not let me leave betting on sports matches. Although, I think this kind of question has been asked before, the gambling discussion board has been so boring today.

Combination of both casino games and sport betting is what make s full gambler, and for sure there are times where you my do more of one to the other, most often I still prefer sport betting to in house games some of the reason is because in house games have high holds on the games and house edge is always implemented on them, not not like sport betting that there is no house edge to limit the gamblers winning.

Just like me, before I don't like casino games. But I think that as time passes by despite that I am more into sports betting, I like to find more games and just to simply enjoy. And that's not bad at all if there are gamblers like you that are not a fan of casino games. With that said, I have discovered that playing casino games every once in a while can be an entertaining break, but not a serious occasion to win. I think that's the magic of slots, despite we know that we're just going to lose. The enjoyment we get there is different from the other games. It gives us the excitement to do it again and again no matter what happens next as if we've already accepted we're going to lose but we like it as we are having fun.

I'm in both; I just enjoy slot games more than sports betting this period. I see casino games as what gives me more opportunity to use a little amount to actually win something big, even as it's also the easiest way to be staking money blindly without any increase in the chance of winning based on the effort put into it, like we could easily do with sports betting. To this day, i still do both perhaps because when i first got into gambling, the first games i played were casino games, more specifically slots, so i still can’t seem to break away from them, even though they cost me more money and take up more of my time. When it comes to risk or the odds of winning, sports betting is certainly more promising, you can slightly improve your chances of winning by analyzing the two teams that are about to face off, unlike casino games, which rely more on luck.

To me casino games are like virtual game where everything happens so fast, and and for that reason it make me uncomfortable to gamble, but with sports betting, it gives me the previlege to think and make decisions and arrive at a point.  But with casino you can just be playing continuously untill you get exhausted with your funds. On his this case I will say a big yes to sportbet over the casino.
