As long as they don’t suffer any serious injuries that would prevent them from playing in the World Cup, it’s a certainty they’ll take the field. Meanwhile, due to the injury he’s suffered, Neymar’s chances of playing in the World Cup are slim, but i see that fans are hopeful Ancelotti will play him.

I remember children were playing football in Messi t-shirts, now they already adults. I dont think that with such intense and long career, Messi and Ronaldo are able to show same level of competition with younger football stars. They can keep on same level with average players, but top players will outplay them. They can bring spirit to team if they play in World Cup 2026, but their participation might make their teams lose. For both Messi and Ronaldo, I would agree that their age is a disadvantage. But I will not say that their presence will make their corresponding teams to lose matches. At least with regards to Ronaldo, the exact opposite is true. During the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Portuguese coach dropped Ronaldo and included junior members in his place. They ended up losing against Morocco and got kicked out of the tournament. Messi is a bit more vulnerable, as there are a number of promising young players available within Argentina to replace him. But even then, I can't agree if you say that his presence will make Argentina lose matches.

Feels like free win for Messi and Ronaldo to play right ? Only a catastrophe would make them miss WC and I doubt something like this happens and I hope it won't because this WC is already in a grey area where a lot of fans decided to skip this WC and sell their tickets to whoever had the money to buy them.

The three players will play in the FIFA world cup. The only thing that will prevent any of them from playing is injury. I know this prediction opened up because Neymar was recently left of the Brazilian squad for their upcoming international duties. Every other player you mentioned has high percentage of going to the World cup except Neymar, I strongly doubt if Carlo Ancelotti would put Neymar in his 2026 World Cup squad, even the last World, it took a lot of grace for some top Brazilian players to be able in the squad, so the percentage given for Neymar Jr is highly possible. As for Cristiano Ronaldo and Messi, I believe this will certainly be their last World Cup tournament.

Messi and Ronaldo are sure of their places in the World Cup squads of Argentina and Portugal. Neymar was just left out by Carlo Ancelotti for the friendly games against France and Croatia. The Italian coach claims that he was dropped because of Neymar's poor physical condition. Endrick might be a potential replacement for Neymar in the World Cup squad.

How do you assume both 41 and 38 years old are in a good physical state, many players don't play professionally upto that age, to where they are considered first choice players for national teams. And honestly, both Ronaldo and Messi are neither in a perfect physical condition, age already caught up with them, doesn't mean they still can't perform, not just how they were younger.

Neymar wasn't called up for the international break, and for the world cup, i doubt if he will be included to the squad.
