BitcoinBT (BTCBT) — Public Test Mainnet Closing Declaration & Mainnet Transition Schedule

Official Notice

Hello Bitcoin community,

This notice is to officially announce the closing of the BitcoinBT (BTCBT) public test mainnet phase and the transition schedule toward formal mainnet commencement.

This post is for project status and technical transition notice only.
It is not an ANN, not an investment offer, and not a token sale.

What is BitcoinBT?

BitcoinBT is a Bitcoin hard fork built on Bitcoin Core v26.

Main parameters:

  • Fork point: Bitcoin block 903,844
  • Activation block: 903,845
  • Mining algorithm: SHA-256
  • Block interval: 5 minutes
  • Difficulty adjustment: ASERT
  • Maximum block size: up to 32 MB
  • Script support: SegWit, Taproot, Schnorr

BitcoinBT inherits the Bitcoin blockchain history up to the fork point and applies modified consensus rules after activation.

There is no ICO, no airdrop, and no automatic distribution to Bitcoin holders.
Coins are created through mining.

Public Test Mainnet Completion

The BitcoinBT public test mainnet began from the first post-fork block and was operated for technical validation of consensus behavior, block production, wallet operation, miner connectivity, pool share submission, node synchronization, explorer visibility, and overall network stability.

Throughout this public test mainnet phase, the planned verification process was carried out across the required technical areas.

Based on the full course of testing, no critical operational problems, consensus-breaking issues, or unresolved validation errors were identified during the test mainnet process, and the required verification procedures have been completed.

Accordingly, BitcoinBT hereby declares that the public test mainnet phase will officially conclude on 2026-03-28.

Transition Schedule

  • 2026-03-28 — Public test mainnet officially closes
  • 2026-03-29 — Final formal-mainnet simulation process
  • 2026-03-30 — Formal mainnet commencement process begins
  • 2026-03-30 — Official declaration of formal mainnet commencement

The period through 2026-03-29 will be used as a final simulation stage before formal mainnet activation.

This simulation process is intended to confirm final launch readiness, operational sequence, deployment flow, and network transition stability immediately before mainnet commencement.

After completion of this simulation stage, BitcoinBT will proceed with formal mainnet commencement starting on 2026-03-30.

Summary of What Was Verified During Public Testing

The public test mainnet phase included validation of the following areas:

  • Node synchronization
  • Wallet creation and loading
  • Sending and receiving transactions
  • CPU mining behavior
  • ASIC miner connectivity
  • Pool share submission flow
  • Explorer visibility and network monitoring
  • General chain stability under live testing conditions

This testing phase was used to confirm that the network could operate under real-world external conditions before mainnet commencement.

Important

BitcoinBT is not Bitcoin and does not claim to replace Bitcoin.

This notice is intended only to announce the conclusion of the public test mainnet phase and the project’s transition schedule toward formal mainnet commencement.

Please avoid price discussion or exchange discussion in this thread.

Technical feedback, bug reports, and constructive discussion remain welcome.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the BitcoinBT public test mainnet phase.

Testing update:

We recently identified and corrected a Stratum compatibility issue affecting some ASIC/Bitaxe submissions, specifically related to version-rolling handling.

After applying the fix, pool-side validation has improved significantly, and external testing results are now much better. We are continuing to monitor logs and verify behavior across different miner and node environments.

At this stage, broader public testing remains very important. Additional reports from independent users help us confirm stability under real-world conditions and allow us to complete this testing phase more reliably.

If you test successfully, please share:
- miner model or OS
- wallet address
- whether connection/mining worked
- screenshot or short log

CPU pool:

ASIC pool:
stratum+tcp://pool.bitcoinbt.xyz:3333

Thank you to everyone contributing to the technical validation of BitcoinBT.

Pool is looking good. I ran my bitaxe gamma 601 (just 1.05ths) and was getting an average of 300 shares per hour, with errors within normal parameters, less than 5%

Looking forward to Mainnet !!

Project well worth a look, guys

Quick live network status update from the public explorer:

Recent blocks are continuing to move normally, with visible block progression around height 910691.
The 7-day hashrate is currently around 13.3 TH/s, and current difficulty is shown around 607.7k.
The explorer is also showing live block flow, miner entries, mempool activity, and fee data in real time.

For anyone following the public test, this is a good way to independently verify that the BitcoinBT test network is active and producing blocks continuously.

Explorer: explorer.bitcoinbt.xyz

We are still looking for more independent CPU / ASIC / Bitaxe test reports.
If you test, please share your miner model, hashrate, average shares, and whether the pool connection was stable.

## Public Test Mainnet Closing Declaration

BitcoinBT (BTCBT) hereby announces that its public test mainnet phase will officially close on **2026-03-28**.

The public test mainnet, which began from the first post-fork block at Block #903,845, was conducted for the purpose of technical validation, deterministic consensus verification, mining and reward behavior review, node synchronization checks, and network stability confirmation.

Throughout this public validation phase, the required testing procedures were carried out and the intended verification objectives were completed. Based on the results of this phase, the project has concluded that the public test mainnet process has reached its planned completion stage.

Accordingly, the BitcoinBT public test mainnet will be formally concluded on **2026-03-28**.

From the end of the test phase through **2026-03-29**, BitcoinBT will conduct a final formal-mainnet simulation process. This stage is intended to confirm deployment readiness, launch procedure consistency, and transition stability before the mainnet commencement stage.

Upon completion of the simulation process, BitcoinBT will move forward with formal mainnet commencement starting on **2026-03-30**.

The official mainnet commencement declaration will be issued on **2026-03-30**.
