The **SafeP2PSwap** team is pleased to announce an important platform update. To enhance the security of our users, we have implemented an additional **AML verification system (Anti-Money Laundering)**.
### 🛡️ What is AML Protection?
AML verification analyzes user wallets before transactions and helps:
- ✅ **Identify sanctioned addresses** (OFAC, Sybil lists)
- ✅ **Block suspicious wallets** with no transaction history
- ✅ **Prevent "dirty" coins** from reaching honest users' wallets
- ✅ **Protect against bots and fraudulent schemes**
### 🔍 How Does It Work?
When connecting a wallet, the system automatically checks:
1. **Wallet Age** — minimum 48 hours since first transaction
2. **Activity History** — minimum 1 transaction
3. **Blacklists** — cross-reference with known sanctioned addresses
If a wallet fails verification, the user receives a notification and access to trading is temporarily restricted.
### ⚠️ Important Reminder
Despite the implemented protection, **no system is 100% secure**. AML verification is an additional security layer, but not a complete guarantee of protection.
**Users are advised to:**
- 🔎 **Independently verify counterparties** before trading
- 📊 **Use external AML services** for address verification:
- [AMLBot](
https://amlbot.com/)
- [GetBlock](
https://getblock.net/)
- [Btrace](
https://btrace.amlcrypto.io/)
- [Matbea](
https://matbea.com/scoring/))
- And other specialized services
- 📚 **Review transaction history** and partner reputation
- 🔐 **Follow basic cybersecurity practices**
