A mixer is specifically designed to obfuscate the transaction history of the same asset by pooling and redistributing funds between multiple participants.
Why else would someone exchange BTC for BTC and pay 1% fee for that?

Don't get me wrong: I value privacy and appreciate privacy services, but you'll need to fit within the rules of the mixer ban.
Perhaps, they should try to fit in, as you have said earlier, because that's the only way they can stay here on Bitcointalk, otherwise they will banned from Bitcointalk.

What do you mean by fit in, are you talking about them changing their operation or changing their service, if they are mixer based on bitcointalk forum rules is it possible for them to adjust in other not to be part of mixer based on bitcointalk forum rules, well I believe a lot of things will come out as time goes on and let’s see what Otrace will do to make things better for themselves in other to continue in this forum and to give their customers quality service.

I think much better for them to visit the rules to check if they didn't really fall on mixer category, since for now this services are been strictly prohibited in this forum, but if they could do some good adjustment and make their service the same as what exchange could offer then its good.

Also if Otrace can show transparency then offer what's been allowed in this forum, then maybe they won't get any problem when launching their service here.

We have also removed same-asset swap directions to avoid confusion around the intended purpose of the service.
Thanks for the quick fix. As far as I know it fits within the forum rules now.

Suggestion: considering how many users in this topic can't read the "0", you should probably buy the "O" domain name. Leaving it out there would make phishing far too easy.

We appreciate the discussion and the concerns raised here.

We reviewed the wording used in several places to avoid ambiguity and removed same-asset swap directions in order to better reflect the intended purpose of the service.

Constructive feedback like this is valuable to us.
Thank you.

Very good questions, thank you.

1. “Liquidity routing” is simply an extremely honest description from our side. All core liquidity is ours. For some directions (for example SOL → USDT on Solana), we may use DEX infrastructure for automatic swap execution and payout processing. We never share user data with third parties, and never will.

2. Even the clearnet version is designed to be as privacy-oriented as possible from the service side. We do not keep logs, do not store order data longer than necessary, and do not request or collect user information beyond what is technically required to complete a swap. The clearnet version also does not connect any external resources such as analytics systems, tracking scripts, metrics platforms, or third-party monitoring services.

The Tor version exists to provide more stable and native operation inside the Tor network and its infrastructure.

That all makes sense. A question though, if the entire core liquidity is held internally and no logs or external analytics/monitoring services are kept how do you then perform abuse prevention, fraud patterns monitoring, up-time, attack monitoring, troubleshooting or dispute resolution? Do you maintain some in-memory temporary monitoring solution or is it all done strictly at transaction level without any auditable records maintained.

You still haven't replied my last question, but then in the original thread You state that all liquidity is held by 0trace and no liquidity comes from third parties, how can you guarantee fast trade execution at the best rates for multiple supported chains even during times of volatility?

Good question — and apologies for missing it earlier.

We maintain internal reserves across supported networks, which allows us to process swaps without relying on third-party liquidity routing for user orders.
Execution speed and availability come from internal liquidity management designed to keep swaps simple and reliable, including during periods of market volatility.

You’ve pointed out some very important concerns. We reviewed and clarified a few parts of our wording to avoid ambiguity.
We have also removed same-asset swap directions to avoid confusion around the intended purpose of the service.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback — these are valuable points for us.
Well, what the person who called your attention to this said was something i notice about your platform description from the first day  i took a closer look at it, although the person is on my ignore list for reasons best known to me, kudus for him for calling your attention to it.

If you can recall  i asked you to explain the difference between your exchange and a mixer the first day i commented on this thread, i could not really explain things to you in details since i do not know much about technical things that. However, i am happy that your exchange has now adjusted accordingly, and kudus for acting immediately after your attention was called to this issue.

After going through your platform, i can say you caught my attention for providing Bitcoin to Monero, vice versa, which i see would be nice for Bitcoiners that want privacy.
But i notice a notification on your website that cant go unnoticed, which says "The 0trace service is in an early stage. Execution limits apply as we continuously expand our capabilities."
Could you explain in detail?

Of course. During the early access period, we’re deliberately limiting certain functionality — such as maximum limits, floating service fees, and the availability of some receiving networks.

Our main priority is stability and error-free execution for users. That’s why some restrictions are temporarily in place while we continue improving the system.

We’re working hard and will be happy to announce when the early access period ends and all core exchange functions become fully available. But this takes time, and we take these matters seriously.

Appreciate your attention.

Hmm. That's fair since you take a good measures to ensure quality over quantity about the service you render to your platform users which is nice to know.
Do you have any idea when more crypto will be add to your platform?
I once work for a privacy brand as term team member years ago but team contacted about listing of their privacy stablecoin. Since you offer privacy exchange service. I will like to know what it entails to list this stablecoin on your website?

We periodically add new networks and tokens. DAI is currently first in line.

Regarding the privacy stablecoin you mentioned — in order for us to consider adding it, it would need to demonstrate a long and reliable track record, stable trading activity, real market demand, and a competitive market capitalization.

DAI is now available.
Earlier than expected.

The area of them always replying to every situation very fast is one of the things I love about them if someone raise any issue in this thread they respond to it immediately and that is a good flag, a lot of service at some people render in this forum when you ask a question or you have an issue it takes them long for them to reply or solve the issue which is very bad.
0trace you people are doing very well and I hope and pray you people continue with this format because I really love it and it will encourage me and others to continue using your exchange as Time goes on I believe more people we believe and trust your exchange more.

Well you have been active lately, and it seems with the questions on ground, you still have a long way to go. Basically your service is at its early stage, which if I may say there will be further updates just like the DAI. But still would adding more tokens not cause clogged networks and stuck trades?. And what if a user's DAI swap just froze and like you said, there is no logs and records, how does your support team find that person's funds and fix the issue.......

network glitches often happens even on exchange platforms like Bybit so yeah you need to be 100% certain that a user's funds won't be lost.....That's all I am sure you'r service may have taught about this earlier on ......

Good questions.

On support: “no logs” does not mean “no ability to resolve issues.” We only retain the minimum operational data required to complete and support an exchange when necessary. If a network issue or delayed transaction occurs, our team can still investigate and resolve it.

Mullvad VPN accepts cash money by post. I've never seen an exchange that does that. Anything bank related is the opposite of private.

I think it is important to understand what kind of privacy we are talking about when discussing fiat exchanges.

If we are talking about complete recipient privacy in the physical world — that is a much more complex question. Postal delivery has its limitations: cameras in and around post offices, while any physical transfer method inevitably creates additional points of deanonymization.

But if we are talking about privacy from the service side — meaning a service that does not collect unnecessary user data during such exchanges — then this is a very realistic goal.

And yes, we do have a very interesting idea in this direction. It is still too early to share details, but we are definitely thinking about it.

Thank you for your attention, it's much appreciated.

They are doing very well I most say too, the exchange has no issues but I'm still looking to see any red flag but I have not seen any meaning the exchange is doing very well and they plan to stay in business for long, I believe they will improve more and become more better as time goes on.
Again I have not seen anyone complain about their service in this thread that is also a good sign because before i even thought about using their service I first checked all the comments made by people on this thread and that's one way to go about things in this forum.
Because of the positive comments on this thread and on their X page from clients I am considering using their exchange to swap my crytocurrency. I also like the way they have been responding to clients feedbacks this is to show you how much they value their clients. the fact they have been no negative feedbacks  from their clients about their service show that otrace is ready for business but I hope this top notch service of theirs would last.

Same here too I’m considering on using their exchange, I also like the fact that they are replying to every questions that they are being asked in this thread it is a good sign of rendering good service.
I also hope they will last with this consistency and efficiency they are giving, this brings me to a question I will love them to answer, How many years are you people planning on giving out quality service or staying in business? I know some people may think the question is not necessary but if they can give a honest answer to the question it will give people more confidence because a lot of people are scared of losing their money and no one can blame them everyone is security conscious.
