I haven't been visiting this thread for a while now, I just checked the Octrace exchange and saw that you guys have really made improvements, the exchange is now looking more presentable. Nevertheless, the Octrace team should keep up the good work, and you the representative should always pay close attention to users opinions, because I can see that we have some experienced and well skilled users when it comes to technical matters on the thread.

You're right to ask. Our copywriter unfortunately phrased that section inaccurately, and it does not reflect how 0trace actually operates.

We do not conduct KYC or AML checks, nor do we determine whether activity is "verified" or "confirmed". We'll revise the wording to make it fully consistent with the privacy-first nature of the project.

I will also suggest for a review campaign if possible they can consider for that, this will help to identify some loopholes from the platform, additionally, it does not got limited to only that, members of the community we also bring in their ideas and suggestions that should be also included in their services on the platform, since everything about this is targeted towards the users experience and the platform will be well presented in a more professional manner when everything is up to standard as expected.

Outside that there are some technical guys on the thread which i believe that they must have spot out some errors and they must have been corrected by the octrace team. However, if the octrace team feels that running a review campaign is necessary they can proceed with it, its also good they hear the opinion of other tech guys on the forum.

Whenever there is a new establishment like the online exchange platforms like this, it's always calls for review, not because they are probably new in the business or in giving out the best of their interest, but there are times we may not know it all and will require others to put us through and bring in more ideas for us to go through and possibly effect it on our services, so it is not bad if they see the needs to do so, moreover everything that they are targeting is customers experience and satisfaction in using their services.

It's a matter of fund. If they really have the small fund to spend, there's nothing wrong with a review or bug campaign. A review campaign does more than just a review;
1. it reveals weaknesses
2. it encourages constructive criticism which helps the team
3. it attracts users which a few might become loyalists. Just like the Dex.fo service, I became a loyal customer after reviewing their project.
4. it also exposes the brand more in the service board.
If the project has the fund, they should do so.

I agree with you that users here value privacy but there are things they value even more. Therefore, Privacy alone doesn't make a service successful on the forum, what makes brands and serves that comes to the forum successful is how transparent, trustworthy and genuine they are, not how privacy focused they are.

The Octrace exchange promotes privacy, which i believe is a perfect swap exchange for users who value privacy, but being privacy focused alone won't make them successful here, the only way they can succeed on the forum and attract the audience they desire is by remaining transparent, genuine and trustworthy just as mentioned on the first paragraph.

True, any service you are rendering in this forum especially exchange if you want to succeed or have a lot of customers you need to be transparent and trustworthy and in order for people to know that you have this qualities you need to continue for a very long time meaning you have to continue your service and keep being reliable and trustworthy, make sure that you don't have any scam related issues because it will damage all the hard work you have put it for years so make sure that your exchange is trustworthy, gain the trust of people and you will succeed and have more customers.

In the source blockchain, the client's transaction has already been confirmed as many times as you require. In the destination blockchain, the transaction has not even been broadcast yet.

You're correct that this does not refer to the confirmation time of the customer's incoming transaction. What we mean is that some exchange routes on our side involve additional on-chain transactions before the payout is broadcast. This is part of the privacy model we use. In some directions, funds are not sent directly from hot wallets, and assets may pass through several internal routers. Therefore, overall processing time can still be affected by network conditions and confirmation times on those intermediate steps.

Running a review campaign will actually help them, they may be getting review about their service in this thread however if they should run a review campaign they will get more review about their service and it will help them to find out some loop holes that they have not noticed for a very long time and then fix it, this is the reason why running a review campaign is very important because it helps you fish out the loop holes you did not see.
It is up to them if they are willing to do it better for them but if they don't want that is fine also, they should do what works for them and not what people feel will work for them, the service should continue being smooth.

I can see that this is a service that will be well appreciated by many and not only even on this platform alone, as long as any crypto user come across such an exchange that does not prioritize kyc, they will be glad to make use of them, I will only advise that they should maintain their stand about their policy and ensure that the same way users could make deposits without having issue should still be the same is the are going to find in using the platform for making withdrawals.
