This project was created as an experiment, and unfortunately, the outcome is more or less what I expected. There is no point in continuing it when the community itself has no real interest in contributing or moving it forward.

I have personally invested a significant amount of time and even some of my own money trying to get it off the ground. Unfortunately, these days most people either join for free coin or invest the bare minimum while expecting the creator to do all the work for them.

There is no point in fooling ourselves into thinking this project has a future when the community is not willing to put in any effort. I know there is a small group of people who genuinely try to help and contribute, and I appreciate that. However, I have personally reached my limit.

The project is open source, so if anyone wants to continue developing it, they are more than welcome to do so. Perhaps someone else will have more patience and tolerance for dealing with the large number of fake accounts and people who have no real interest in the project itself and only joined in hopes of making money.

After a few weeks of testing this coin, I’ve realized it’s not just a standard Proof of Stake coin—it works in a way that’s unlike any other I’ve tried. You have to buy the coins to get PoS, and with each block being 99 DORK, it’s almost like you’re actually buying a DORK miner.

Just started testing this coin today . I had to type in the console addnode explorer.dorkcoin.org add to get a connection, but other than that, I’m very happy with the testing and looking forward to seeing what staking is like.
