Years ago there was a member doing such a thing, and it saved me from dealing with hacked accounts or impersonators, I cant find the original post, thought it was worth doing again if anyone else is up for it?
So heres how it works, PGP sign the below message ONLY, between the dashes, changing the relevant info to fit your account any details in ()should be changed by you, I will check it,
And would like others to also verify before it goes on my list.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I (account name)
verify that on (date) wish people to know of my trusted BTC address of
(insert address)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This list is not the be all and end off of security, but just another step to help this forums population safe, updates can be made by including your PGP message with a new BTC address, You must PGP with your old address to validate a new one.

Please note this is not forum backed and is not a key to save your account, if mods like this list and it helps them in any way shape or form, please consider a sticky.

First off, It's good to see an old-timer rejoin the forum.  Welcome back.

so I will leave this here as that list has not been used in a few years, if anyone wants to start again please feel free to join in.

If you're going to do it, please do it right.  Mdayonliner took it upon himself to update the list from time to time after grtthegreat stopped.  But Mdayonliner's last update was in 2019 before he decided to storm off in a hissy fit.  He posted his template in this post.  I'm not saying you need use the same format, but something along those lines in the OP would be handy.

Here's mine:
Code:
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA512

I DireWolfM14
verify that on 20 March 2026 wish people to know of my trusted BTC address of

My message can be verified using keybase, so there's no need to download my key into your key ring.
