Airdrop Hunting Thread

Yeah, the thing about why I mostly keep suggesting perps trading is it's what I mostly do in crypto these days.  And since there's a possibility for Hyperliquid to airdrop again and for trade.xyz to give out a decent airdrop then what else can I say?

The thing is do what you love and use the protocols and projects that align with what you love doing.  If you guys like DeFi then go look for projects that do DeFi that might give out an airdrop. 

There's an L2 network launched by Kraken called Ink which has a points program rn.  I think some of you guys might like to check it out. 

True, most of perps are also getting listed at high FDV. It's always worthy because it likes shooting two birds with one stone because we're chasing for the + pnl while we also get lucrative airdrop.

Apart from that i've also collected a few thousands INK points, Still no clue whether this is worth or not because the points seems getting diluted.





On other hand, i'm also updating one of famous perp platform Variational already announced their token, and they're allocating 32% of supply to their users. So i guess this is gonna cook.



The picture above is the prediction about how much each variational point is worth right now. 1b FDV with 32% allocation will give you almost $30 for a variational point. I think this airdrop will be another big airdrop.

tokeweed has it right, just use the stuff you would use anyway. farming 20 wallets with fake volume mostly gets filtered now, sybil checks got way better

Hopefully all the time and effort I did on trade.xyz won't be a waste.  Not to mention the money...

I did, but a bit late. People who joined during the early phase got a lot more. I'm only getting around 513, but it's enough to put me closer to the top 3k. It's valued around 15k usd if i sell it through otc trade with price $30 for each pts, but prefer to wait until the token will come.

Who knows it will cook like Lighter that has been growing from less than $1 to the $5. I also farming bulk trade, and i may be putting all of my focus on tradexyz because it has largest OI after hyperliquid.

That is absolutely right; since people have lost interest and can't be bothered to do the work, they will come rushing back once the market turns bullish—and that is precisely the time to harvest, not to plant.
but some people will  learn, some not.

Anything listed in here that has not yet launched their token. Honestly, TXflow sounds quite good they're just launching their point program recently, which is worthy to farm but i think i will doing delta neutral trade against Standx or N1exchange.

Standx is build by the team who build binance perp platform while N1 is native perp like hyper liquid. So it's worth to farm those exchanges at the same time along with txflow.

I'd have a lesser expectation over this. Jeff yan has focused about the private market in the korea blockchain week, and his next announcement maybe related to the strategic partnership for the expansion purpose consider his platform will be opened to the US in the future.

I guess some people were sticking around just for S3 which obviously isn't happening anytime soon.  If I were to guess, another points season might happen if they want more liquidity in their outcome markets...  Otherwise, nothing.

Edit:  Abstract L2 is winding down btw...  Did anybody from BCT farm it?

Hype is getting priced so high, and so many people especially some big CTs are blatantly showing off their farm on their X. I don't think Hyperliquid will be doing S2 or S3 airdrop consider it. Just keep farm, then believe in nothing to happen to ensure we won't get eaten by our expectation.

It will make our mental health better. I've also heard that DYDX's perp called Argus was distributing points to its user. I guess it's worth to farm consider DYDX team has ever issued token for thei dex. Who know they will repeat the same pattern in their new perp.

It's good to see this happens. My money gone when this trash L2 got hacked, and i never got it back. The better this blockchain gets burn to hell.

The outcome of many airdrop have course some lost of interest, lunching without anything to show in the market also nothing even lunching after been mined some have see airdrop as the most scammed aspect of the crypto market, the market does not favour everyone been consistent despite the challenge is part of the struggle, it's of better opportunity to focus now that many interest has drop because time of FOMO, is coming where many will regret and will like to join and will cry again because they will be on the wrong part because that will be. The bull already.

I'm farming XP there but not in a large volume and if I'm not mistaken my last level is only Silver. When seeing the new announcement, Abstract decided to Shut down is no longer surprised from the beginning they have been too long delayed momentum for TGE. Dev Abstract is bad at making decisions, even Abstract has achieved impressive TVL. In the current situation and conditions, there are many L2 that finally closed due to not being able to survive. The market is moving in an unexpected direction therefore I also feel that farming airdrop is no longer profitable at this time.

^  But let's face it, L2's have gotten way saturated when every dev from 4 - 5 years ago were copying what Arbitrum and Optimism were doing.  We have all these useless L2 that have no users except for those ones who are farming for airdrops and pushing network metrics up.

Most of them will prolly wind down in the coming years leaving some of the better ones.  I don't think Base will survive.  I really thought that they would airdrop a token.

But now many airdrop projects are breaking their promises disappointing the communities that were hoping to receive rewards through airdrops. Hoever today even those types of airdrops are no longer profitable. The last testnet airdrop project I worked on was Nomisma which I joined right from its launch in Q1 2025. But to this day there’s no certainty as to when the distribution will begin, where it’s as if they’re just trying to deceive users by pretending to keep delaying it. What are your thoughts about the many projects that keep delaying a decision or even breaking their promises?

I don't think participating in any airdrop is welcome at this point, let those comfortable try their luck. After past occurrences, i see participating in airdrops as a waste of time. I lost faith in the market, and i believe making good money out of it really takes one to be extremely lucky, only a few people will catch airdrops that will be sellable at a fair price, the kind of airdrops will mostly be the unpopular ones, the ones that millions of people are not aware of to participate.

Imo, BASE is already running like Optimism and Arbitrum if you look at the growth of the ecosystem. It's just that they don't have tokens yet, because of that some communities feel disappointed for the reason but in terms of use the BASE is fine.
Ideally L2 has a token, but not having a token does not mean putting the BASE as a failure. Having tokens is not an indicator of the success of an L2, in fact some cases say the opposite where L2 who are in a hurry to have tokens have failed a lot. Launching its own token was a matter of momentum and BASE dilemma in this case.

Airdrop has evolved now, it will not follow the old school days, which is just enough capital email and paste the address.

The problem now becomes complex why airdrop is now difficult to get a decent wage, so you should not rely on moreover they have confirmed the airdrop still the reality at the end will not be appropriate.

Projects that can get to the market there are several factors.
Abstract example, they have funding; they also say loss; the ecosystem is not working as expected because the community does not see anything unique; so they go back to L1 ETH which already knows its feasibility.

Especially when the market is bearish at its peak, many new or old altcoin projects collapse.

Here's the new list of tokenless perp platforms so far. They're all worth to farm, and it's time for you guys to do delta neutral to farm points. I'm putting Variational and standx as my top choices because these platforms already listed on the premarket, and both are trading at pretty high FDV. Tradex must be the best one to farm after Variational and Standx.

Other than that i think TXflow, Hibachi, Nado, Arcus are also worth to farm too. We have lots of tokenless perp platforms at this moment. We can farm those by doing delta neutral and it will cost us nothing, then eligible for the future drop.

Look at so many perp tokens performing so well such as LIT, BP. Those perp tokens are pumping to the billions FDV, which is giving us lots of money if we farmed them through doing delta neutral.

I personally put all of my focus on Variational because it's getting closer to TGE. You can still join because opportunity is still open.
