In french rules, when you make a side bet the casino will either return half your bet if zero lands or carry your bet forward. Obviously this favours the player and lowers house edge.

Does anyone know any casino online that offers this?

I've never encountered this in neither physical nor online casinos but at least some crypto casinos host games where they're willing to allow for extremely low house edge like crypto dice which is one of the most classic crypto casino games with just a house edge of 1%.

Evolution gaming and Bgaming has french roulette which offers a 50% refund on your odd/even & black/red bet when the ball drop to zero/green.

We use this method a lot to accumulate wager quickly since we can increase our bet and just risk half of it when lose. Some casino implement already restriction on betting both sides which is more efficient betting strategy on this method.

Still, Blackjack is the best option for lower house edge game but it consume lots of time to accumulate wager since it’s done manually.

Didn't play on French roulette style game, but upon searching I saw this site that lost those sites which offering French Roulette.

Then also this https://walletinvestor.com/magazine/the-ultimate-top-12-crypto-french-roulette-casinos-for-massive-wins

Some of the site listed there is well known here in forum, but there are other sites also questionable. So do your own diligence to pick the best site that you know reputable to play that French Roulette.

Great suggestion Smiley I wanted to say it but you came first. However, since 1 or 2 years, most casinos I know who offered the Evo and Bgaming french roulette do not give you the wager amounts from playing these games (as in 0x wager count to requirements). So its great for multiplying money if you like roulette but BJ is still the best, totally agree here.

Kinda miss Blackjackfun days Smiley

Never really seen it tbh. Most crypto casinos just run basic euro roulette, nothing fancy. French rules cut into their edge, so no real reason for them to add it. Dice is easy money for them, roulette with perks isn’t. Maybe some small site tried it, but it’s not something you’ll usually find.

Why would a casino offer games where its chances of winning are reduced? It seems to me that the answer is so obvious that the question itself isn’t even worth asking. A casino will always aim to have better odds than the player, that’s exactly how they make money. I don’t play roulette, so I can’t advise you on that, but I think you could spend a bit of time asking support in a few casinos whether they have such games, that would probably be faster.

I still do this on livecasino before and it works 1 year since they open their casino which helps me a lot to reach top spot on their tournament.

They adjust their rules that betting on both sides is not counted and their own game already disabled this feature.  Cheesy

Right now, blackjack and cash out strategy works for me now for wager farming.

Kinda miss Blackjackfun days Smiley

The good old days when they are still rewarding in fixed BTC amount on tournament and weekly bonus of 0.001BTC

Thank you for opening this discussion bros @alani123, I learned something new because of this thread, I don't have sMerit, sorry for not being able to appreciate the thread. Regarding gameplay, it turns out there are 2 terms in french roulette:

(1) La Partage
(2) En Prison

Honestly, when I saw the explanation, it would really benefit the players, but with the business vision of the casino, it seems we won't see this model in the original games of the casino site.

The house edge on roulette with french rules is 1.35%. This is much lower than the original and makes American roulette almost seem pointless. But I can think of several reasons why a casino might want to add it.

If this game is running plain and without huge bets then the casino isn't running in more risk than let's say dice where the house edge is even lower at 1%. A casino could run this game without any attached promotion such as wagger bonuses or races etc.

Then the enjoyers of roulette could play with a lower house edge for the fun of the game. Those chasing promos could enjoy their wagger bonus and competitions on other roulette games maybe.

It would be even more fun if this game was also probably fair.

Actually I'm surprised that with all the cutthroat competition no casino has capitalised in marketing this form of roulette for crypto players yet

So it makes me wonder why no crypto casino offers this

I know this rule, and it makes this gambling game a little more diverse. In Europe itself, it is usually found in physical casinos such as la partage. And as the author correctly noted, this rule really reduces the casino's advantage from 2.7% to 1.35% for equal bets.
Obviously, this is beneficial for the roulette player, unlike other types of standard roulette.
Why not at a crypto casino? I think it's about simplicity. It is much easier for online casinos to offer 1 percent dice to players and not bother. They still get good money due to the huge flow of people on the sites.
