For me, the real issue here no be only about money but about mindset and discipline. Gambling Dey create the illusion of quick success, but in reality, e Dey trap people in a cycle of loss, regret and hope. The more person try to recover e lose, the more e Dey fall. On the other hand. investing especially for something like bitcoin, no be a get rich quick scheme. Bitcoin requires patience, emotional control and consistency. Na y method like DCA dey powerful, e Dey remove the pressure of trying to time the market and e Dey build habit of stay growth.
However, I believe say  moving from gambling to investing no Dey always change if the mindset doesn’t. Anybody way still get this quick win mindset, them fit still treat investing like gambling and still make same mistakes.

Your brother should quit gambling for the sake of his mental health, that is what I would suggest as a Nigerian. In fact, gambling should be seen as a form of entertainment for everyone and never as a way to make money. Now, Bitcoin investment has the potential to make a profit and we can understand that from its past history but gambling does not have that potential. Also, OP, you may have misinterpreted something because Bitcoin investment will not only help in making a profit but it can also be used to build a secure future and can also be used as a shield against inflation. So, even if this person has a small amount of money, he should buy a fraction of Bitcoin instead of gambling.

I want to share this with the community about a brother I know. I met my brother yesterday and he was telling me about him, he lost a lot of money playing casino and he can't get out of the casino. I told him repeatedly that you should stop gambling and stay away for a while and control yourself, he told me to show me a good way. I told him a few years ago about investing in Bitcoin, and then he told me that the value of Bitcoin is very high and he doesn't have that much money, I told him to invest continuously but he didn't pay that much attention then.

Well for me I think it is better to invest in Bitcoin than gambling reasons been that gambling is all about betting on chances without having any specific assurance of the outcome, while Bitcoin is really a decentralized and na digital currency system.

There are people who uses Bitcoin investment as side hustle and there are also people who uses gambling as a side hustle also. Both of them can be risky and also can make you rich. No one is perfect between the two, is just like the saying "Do what you know how to do best". For me I choose Bitcoin investment over gambling but I don't know for others because I know that as I invest in Bitcoin without minding the risk in it, it will also help me financially. For the sake of his mental health, he should just quit gambling and focus more of building wealth. There's no guarantee that he will become rich through gamble. The best thing for him is quit and think on how to start building wealth through other means. Since you have already told him about Bitcoin investment and he says the value of Bitcoin is very high which couldn't stop him from investing. However, the problem with a lot of new investors is that they always want to start high even when they know for the fact that they don't have any knowledge about the investment.
