Although this is a fictional story,many people say that something like this actually happened.I heard this fictional story a few years ago.I am sharing it here just as an example. I will come to the main discussion later.
Once an Arab traveler lost his way in the vast desert.When the tired man was looking for a way out, he was very close to dying of hunger,thirst and the sun, when he saw a hut in the distance. He somehow reached the hut and saw a hand pump inside.He was hungry and tired like crazy,the man started pumping the hand pump with his own hands, but he realized that the pump had dried up long ago. He gave up in complete despair, lay down there and looked up and saw a bottle hanging from the ceiling. He took the bottle in his hand and saw that there was water in the bottle. Just before he was about to drink the water, he saw that it was written on the bottle that,,,If you pour water from this water bottle and pump it, the water will come out of the hand pump again and after you drink the water and quench your thirst,this bottle must be filled again. So that the next traveler can pump again with this water.He was very surprised and kept swinging between faith and disbelief.The man did not understand He could not decide whether to quench his thirst with this water or to try to get some water by pouring it into the hand pump.He thought that if the water did not come out even after pouring it into the hand pump,then he would definitely die.What would happen if he drank this little water himself? Then no one else would be able to drink it. If he could pump the water into the hand pump and get it out,then he could take it with him and leave it for other travelers. After thinking about it for a long time,he finally poured the water into the hand pump and started pumping it. Then he saw that the water was coming out little by little.And when he had drunk the water and quenched his thirst,he filled the bottle again. Then when he came out of the hut,he suddenly felt that he also needed to leave some message for others. He went back again and wrote a small note on the bottom of the water bottle that,"You can believe that what is written here is true. That is how I got it."
If you pay attention,,you will see that we have to go through this same situation regularly.When we pursue something big in life, try to achieve something big. Then we have to sacrifice our short-term comforts and joys.
It is like a little water in a water bottle. If someone drinks the water just for short-term pleasure, then he will never be able to draw water from the pump.
In the same way, when we give more priority to short-term profit in Bitcoin investment, in some cases, profit may be made. But if we can sacrifice that small profit, which is not a sure profit but can also be a loss, then a big foundation will be created in the long run like drawing water from a hand pump. When we continue to invest with long-term faith, only then will we be able to use the main power of investment in our favor. And from investment, when we are not physically able to earn during retirement, we will be able to fully live our future life.
Just as a little water in a bottle can only quench your immediate thirst, short-term gains can only provide short-term satisfaction, and can also create stress if you lose.
