Mr. Arif return to his village after a long 18 years. He was surprised to see the condition of the village. he noticed that the villagers were using electric appliances for household work. From their homes, they could get news from home and abroad. Especially in educational institutions, students were being taught using electrical equipment.

After a long time, Mr. Shafik came to Dhaka from London and saw heavy traffic jams, tall buildings, and the use of the internet everywhere. Not only that, his younger brother Rakib and his wife were so busy with office work that they could not give him much time. From this, it can be understood that the country has become economically more prosperous and the people of the country have developed a lot. Seeing the condition of the country, Mr. Arif was amazed. Where would you like to see the country. In the next 50 years? Is it possible to develop like London?

This sounds like a novel to me OP, looking at the topic I was thinking that you were going to write on development especially technology as it affects our daily life going into the future. The fact remains that when it comes to technology no nation today can successfully develop without embracing technology the future of the world is been shaped by technology. For developing African countries like Senegal which you mention in your novel there seems to be a shift in the way African countries are actually developing. I have seen that African countries are only trying to build in terms of infrastructure this means that, African countries are buy buildings houses, roads etc which to me is still important without actually developing technologically which is a very big disadvantage to Africa as a continent because the gap between Africa and development is the technical deficiency that exists.

Currently, I agree with you somewhat, but not completely. It would not be right to neglect only infrastructure, building roads, buildings, bridges. Because for technological development, basic infrastructure is needed first. Without electricity, internet network, good roads, city planning, it becomes difficult to use technology. Many African countries are now building infrastructure first so that later industries, IT sectors, tech startups can be developed. Development does not happen in the day, development happens step by step. First infrastructure, then industries, then technology—this is how most developed countries have progressed. Our country will also progress, but we have to work for the right reasons. So it can be said that Africa is not only lagging behind, they are now laying the foundation. If they have the right plan, they will be able to move forward quickly in the technological direction in the future. I think.

I bring my Vietnamese buyer for city tour in the center city of Jakarta, seeing many skyscrapers and they are amazed how fast Indonesia develops compared to Vietnam. But for many people in jakarta, see this is normal, many people actually miss a quiet situation without traffic jams so that daily life activities do not start with stress. They even miss the atmosphere of childhood when the price of basic necessities was still cheap so that everyone could easily buy them, clothes were relatively simple, only one or two people were different. Nowadays poor people often feel inferior because there are many people who dress well while there are only 1 or 2 people who dress shabbily.

From your story and my story, economic development of a country is not always followed by an increase in the quality and welfare of life. Many people enjoy access to technology, education and globalization at low prices o the other hand they face new problem such as exterm work and busyness, traffic jam, exposure to age inappropriate information for children and gadget addiction.

Why should London become a reference ? London is high cost living city, high pressure working style and high individualim. Can we create more city with inclusive city concept, welfare state urbanism or transit oriented development.  Even it is very hard to achieve considering now economic based on project development which mean its growth depend on capital not what citizen's need. In reality, deveopment based on government policy, modern politic is high cost sector which bring short term policy which focusing only on political elite's interest not real contribution to society and with mostly all recative not preventif policy and all global pressure, i think we just need a leader with total integrity who makes changes and fixes the root of the problem.
