I bet almost only on sports bet and I think it is possible to win in the long run, if you have dedication and high experience, but the problem is that margins are very small and it is increasingly difficult to find value opportunities (these situations where a bet is good because the casino is miscalculating the odds).

So, with small margins you need to make a dozens of simple bets to get a little, but in a single loss you lose much more than you win. So, the alternative is to risk more with compound bets, but then everything becomes more difficult.

I am not worrying too much about it, I've always played for fun so I am content when I make a profit but I am not upset when I end up with a zero balance.

Yes, the longer we play, the more we are going to lose. That's how most of the games are design, except maybe sports betting or poker. But luck base games, ouch, if you go long run with games like roulette you are going to lose more.

You are right, gambling is for entertainment, it's only a few lucky players that were able to win a life changing amount and then utilized the money for something that caused more financial growth in their life.
