Sports betting and prediction market enthusiasts will have their own customers. Perhaps in the market they could be said to be competing, but in reality their customers might have their own interests.
Casinos that also offer sports betting have better competitiveness. Because it is likely that their customers can enjoy both casino games and sports betting. I think there is nothing to worry about.

Sports betting focuses on sports, and some people like it that way. They don't want anything else that will probably confuse them or urge them to gamble for that kind of prediction, especially if they don't know anything about it.
Prediction markets can stick with what they are popular with, and that's mostly politics and other weird lines. Sports betting, on the other hand, will also keep what they do best.

No, in fact I see in several sources that people involved in sports casinos specifically betting on sports betting will increase in 2026 compared to 2025, this proves that sports casinos are actually high in popularity at the moment.

Most of those who gamble on sports in general that I see are addicted and fanatical about certain sports clubs, in contrast to betting on the Polymarket site, in general I see that the betting period is long, different from sports betting, 90' bets are completed while betting on Polymarket can wait months. For example, betting predictions for the US president in advance betting on Polymarket can already place bets.

I am sure that sports casinos are increasing in number of gamblers day by day, if you don't believe me just look for sports betting statistics.

‎I don't see it as such a big threat, yes there's gonna be competition in the market and sport betting casinos will most likely lose some of their smart bettors as they'll find advantage in these prediction markets, but I don't think the change will be that massive to hurt sport betting casinos.

‎I believe these casino companies are also smart enough to adapt and include crypto payments and also launch their own style of prediction market.  prediction markets would likely force sport betting casinos to evolve.

I dont think i know a single site which offers only sports betting and not a casino

Regardless they should be good unless they already are a dead site, every site has loyal players who only play there for some reason or the other and house always wins anyways

Their margins may decrease but they keep winning as always

I don't know why people are conspiring a prediction market with casinos. There is a big difference even if both of them are gambling platforms. The prediction market focus on politics and physical occurrence like war, natural disasters and other events.
We all love casinos because we can gamble on sport events and make money and we can always gamble on machine games to make money too, all depends on luck and the possiblity of these events coming to pass to make us absolutely profitable.

Competition is usually a healthy thing at least for the consumer, the multiple options promotes the best service available to those able to play anywhere they choose.
  It might be more work for the companies involved but the rewards in gambling are profitable operations for those that can get it right.  There is the idea the biggest company always wins but crypto is so diverse and global, with this much growth I find it hard to believe only one company serves the world for some reason.
  There's a variety of factors that will split up the base, not every sport is played in every country for example some I've barely heard of and are niche yet popular in regions etc.

What I think is that a casino will always be a casino, and we all know what it is, what it offers, and how different it can be, not only in online casinos, but also in land-based casinos, Competition may arise, even if it's just for sports betting, but a casino is unique it has very distinctive features that people like, and not all players will leave. Nothing beats the original.
