your point about politics is very valid and in so many countries, lack of transparency in campaign funding and public spending creates room for corruption. When politicians hide where money comes from, or how it’s used it weakens trust and makes it harder for citizens to hold them accountable. Once some leaders get into office, personal interests, pressure from elites, or lack of strong institutions can change their behavior. It is less about every politician being evil, and more about systems that allow bad behavior to go unchecked. So the real issue is not actually just fiat vs non but it is balance.

Yes, I would suggest cryptocurrencies for absolutely all kinds of donations, and not only political, but also economic and financial donations, and even, perhaps, donations for temples. After all, in the country where I live, even these donations are often used to steal them. This is because only blockchain can provide an honest record of all the expenses that have been made, and everyone can see them without any special software, including their own donations.
Therefore, this is a method that should be widely implemented in the future. It could potentially lead to a war against corruption in all countries. but governments won't allow it.

It's not a bad idea, because cryptocurrency itself is a form of money, so why not be allowed to be used freely? Well, my response is based on the casual view of it, but on the critical view, cryptocurrency could make politicians evade financial oversight,, thereby causing lack of transparency, and who knows? Foreign interests could use the opportunity to creep in.

Because cryptocurrency is traceable doesn't mean it is easy to do. Some crypto transactions take law enforcements years to unravel. That's if they would be successful in it at all.

Basically, we can see that the geopolitical diplomacy that is going on in the world today is that many people do not transact money through their banks. There are leaders of many countries who use cryptocurrencies to do various political and criminal activities with other countries so that their privacy is protected. Basically, if crypto is used correctly, it is not wrong at all and will not be a crime, but we know that many people are currently using Bitcoin to do many types of criminal activities. Criminals use crypto to keep their personal information secret so that no one can track them, that is why many people oppose crypto. I think that in the current digital age, crypto should be used and it is not a bad thing, but it is good for thinking about our future and improving our financial position.

I do not think crypto donations are wrong. The problem is not crypto itself, but making sure donations are transparent and legal. coins like Bitcoin can be traced more easily than case, many politicians oppose it because they do not trust crypto or fear hidden donations. if there are clear rules and full disclosure, crypto donations can be acceptable.

Remember the good things when there is no option for the people affected by war in Ukraine against Russia. It all started a drive for the donations through crypto and many aid have been sent there and that's because of how crypto was used by that then. If we're going to classify it depending on its use, there will be specific good and bad use of it. With regards to how it's utilized with the donations that were done, we can say that it's good one. But if it's being donated to a bad politician, I think many will have to agree that it shouldn't be used that way.

The system, established and run by politicians, is indeed flawed. I'm not judging all politicians worldwide, but in some countries I know, it seems beyond repair.
The only question is: if politicians in every country continue to demand large sums of money during elections, the opportunity for corrupt practices like corruption will never be eradicated. Ultimately, they only care about the well-being of themselves, their families, and their groups.

If Bitcoin were adopted as a currency and they didn't reject it, transparency would become public knowledge; it would reveal where and how they spend their money.

People are free to use their crypto as they please, but nothing on earth has an advantage without a disadvantage.
I personally see the donation of cryptocurrencies to a political campaign as a form of marketing crypto as a payment model. Since this is achieved, the dump that may come with the crypto sell-off shouldn't bother us.
Having said that, I don't see any reason why crypto will make politicians evade financial oversight or create a lack of transparency since 98% of political leaders will not use a privacy coin or service.

Because cryptocurrency is traceable doesn't mean it is easy to do. Some crypto transactions take law enforcements years to unravel. That's if they would be successful in it at all.

Yes, it is not all crypto transactions that are traceable, but when hiring a blockchain forensic expert, and a platform that auto checks blockchain activities, it is not up to years. Besides, I won't be surprised if law enforcement agencies have a lot of personal crypto privacy services created by them to track illicit transactions.

While many systems are deeply flawed, there are still leaders and institutions in different parts of the world trying to push for accountability buh the issue is less about individuals alone but  more about weak systems, and limited public oversight. On Bitcoin, you are absolutely right that blockchain technology brings a level of transparency snd transactions are publicly recorded and can be traced, but then it is also worth noting that Bitcoin is not fully anonymous snd most people can still hide behind wallet addressed unless there are mechanisms linking those addresses to real identities. So while it can improve transparency, it does not automatically eliminate corruption without proper structures in place.

I don't mind crypto being used for political donations. I'm sure that crypto is being used right now by corrupted politicians all over the world to receive bribes. There's no way for such practice to get completely banned. Our opinions don't matter. Crypto would still be used for political donations and to fund corruption whether we are against it or not. Corruption among politicians is as old as the human civilization. Even if crypto was completely destroyed and banned by the governments, the politicians would receive donations and bribes in one way or another.

There's no way for such practice to get completely banned. Our opinions don't matter. Crypto would still be used for political donations and to fund corruption whether we are against it or not. Corruption among politicians is as old as the human civilization. Even if crypto was completely destroyed and banned by the governments, the politicians would receive donations and bribes in one way or another.

Political donations must be public, so if there is a crypto donation, even that has to be know how much and from who, otherwise it's illegal. At least that is the case in my nation, I am not sure how it is in other nations. We should realize how things could be very different on the long run, because we are dealing with things that are not going to eb easy and we should be focusing on how to make this any better at all.

Politics is already very tough topic, and if we let donations with crypto become free and not cared, there will be a lot of bribes that won't be easy. I personally believe that crypto would improve itself a lot before it would be incorporated with politics needs.
