Well, morality is not always the same, it depends on the context. Because even though we might say we would always be moral, in times of stress people change their priorities. When people are in trouble, they will prioritise survival, so morality will be put aside, it is not a surprise,  So if people change, it is not fair to say they are all bad. And poor is more moral, I think it is an emotional discussion. Because in life, good and bad are everywhere.

This is the sad truth when things are tough and the standard of living gets more tougher in a society. People tens to lose their morals and begins to do anything that they can do to survive. This is commonly known as the survival of the fittest where only organisms which are only strong enough to survive in live. Crime rate and all sorts of illegal things is always associated with economic hardship. You see men who has moral right and is genuine during this types of Time.

No matter what happens we should not allow our environment and the conditions that, we find ourselves not to affect us negatively because people are affected by their environment and change to things people that is opposite their what they were used to.
Economic crisis often results from war torn or political agendas that cause a divide in the society and this explains why when there's peace, there's economic and infrastructural growth, but when there is war or impending wars looming, economy starts to dwindled as we see major money movements and investors fleeing to safety, while leaving those who can't run to survive as animals in a jungle, hence why morality and good behavior is futile during the times of trying to survive.

I cannot agree less here. Economic crises often lead to corruption, starvation, an increase in debt, and a lot that I can barely think of at the moment. We humans are animals by nature, though we try to tame our animal instincts of survival, but with economic crisis, many will lose their nuts. It is already happening. How most people respond to the crisis is damaging the world currently.

I'm not sure how bad the effects of this war on global economies or if its going to get so bad
that society breaks down to a point. I would like to think that its "only" 20% of global oil supply
which is at risk so hopefully we wont decent into lawlessness and increased crime in general.
But yea when people run out of options I suppose crime increases.

Crisis whether it is economy or geopolitical crisis would always come to turn disasterous where less privilege and criminals both could dives into the street in search and struggles of long term survival. Some are only cared about immediate need because when the economy system that has crumbled, immediate means of survival becomes the vulnerables highest problem.
Some could not pay their bills and perishes over the hardship in the quest.
Definitely stealing and involving in illegal activities will become common trend for vulnerable.

Yet that 20% looks a huge part of this global economy and many countries that are reliant to that oil are very affected. I think that's just how the domino effect works. It's not only about the 20% of supply of oil that's coming in the middle east but also the affected industries that are reliant to it. And maybe from that 20%, there goes the other industries from the 80% that are reliant to these affected ones. Let's assume that when things get worst, that human behavior that just want to survive can do a lot even it's the unusual.

You're right, when the vulnerable are deprived they search for all means to survive, and the rich becomes their target, in economics crisis the rich are not even safe because the vulnerable will steal from them to survive. In economics crisis there's withdraw for generosity every man facing their own survival.

Economic crisis Should not be an excuse to commit crime because I'm the law no excuse if you're caught you will definitely face the law. In economics crisis people still make money, instead of committing crime think of way to use the economic crisis to your advantage.

Crisis going higher globally if people are hungry and need basic needs many will forget about morals or good behavior.
There are many new criminals who have jumped pass the mental moral restrictions they usually had because there is need to survive, the economy has pushed them past the point where they can no longer stop themselves from being involved in crimes. A tougher economy always breeds more criminals.

Shop and store keepers will be expecting more robberies more stealing thats for sure.
If you are a shop or store keeper, now knowing that there will be more security challenges, it will be wisdom for you to start installing security measures and set ups to ensure you are not a victim.

It's so hard to make sense of your incoherent rambling and clear anti-western bias, but let's give it a go anyway. The majority of people in the West think that Trump is a bad joke, who has led America into yet another middle East war after getting played by Israel. It's disturbing how we see his lies and erratic attacks on allies roll off his tongue so easily. It is already affecting the world economy and will likely cause a global recession, on that point you are right. However as others have mentioned, the richer countries are able to weather these storms more easily. What we may see is more of a break by Europe and traditional US allies to protect their economies against this aimless war that is only for Israel's benefit.

Before the global recession, there's already an uproar and protest within the American citizens. Donald Trump has indeed taken their debt upwards and showed the world how he has no respect for sovereignty, human rights and international law. Above all, he has no atom of respect for his Nato allies as he publicity disrespect them. Even the rich are feeling the heat and repercussions of the unnecessary war with iran. The Allies are majorly affected because Putin has decided to not sell oil to Europe.

Financial sovereignty begins with Self-Custody

It is true that due to lack of employment or unemployment, many people lose their morals and choose immoral paths, especially in countries where unemployment is a problem, most of the citizens of that country are involved in immoral activities. If the political or economic situation of the country is bad, the impact of criminal activities may increase, but it is not that everyone is involved in bad activities in bad times. There are many who stand by the people and help each other. When criminal activities increase during a crisis, every government tries its best through security forces to reduce immoral activities. During a crisis, those who can adapt to the situation and control everything normally, warn themselves and the people around them from immoral activities and help each other, are the ones who can survive.

Well I wouldn't say it is something new. Lack, scarcity, and want reveals makes humans fall back to their primal behaviour. The need for self-preservation. It becomes the battle of the survival of the fittest. Back to my earlier statement where I said, it is not something new but it is being recorded and shared worldwide.
Sadly, in a way this is a tool by the tops to control those at the bottom which is a solution bitcoin brings. It bypasses that control and puts the (economic/financial)power in the hands of everyone so they are in charge of their fate.

I agree with the topic matters because of what's happening in some states in my country, there was a period (some years back) in which kidnapping was very common in that state and people were scared of going there and from the assessment of some security agents, it was established that the root cause of the problem was because of economic crises, workers are working but salaries are not being paid, sometimes they are being owed for more than 3 months and when the company they are working for finally pays up, these staffs must have already been owing debts that they would use the salary to pay off.

The disruption of 20% of global oil production would be a negative consequence on the global economy. Many countries are scrambling for available crude supplies which has made the price increase. Different governments are devising means to manage the supplier shortfalls. Some countries are rationing electric power because they don't have enough oil to power electric plants. I don't expect anarchy because of the situation because some government is managing the situation well.

The crisis will create chaos, the point is that hungry people will be more dangerous than people who have filled their stomachs even though they are poor, the crisis will trigger hunger and most people do not like slow death like hunger, humans are like default they will look for ways to be able to eat one of them if there is no good way then he will do any way to eat like committing a crime, like what often happens in many areas that lack food, they will steal, mugging, cheating, even betraying, looting shops and so on, they no longer care about what is moral, because in their minds the most important thing is that their lives can be saved.

I think we can choose freely to be good people or bad people, For me, that doesn't mean that to survive we can step on others. I will always choose to survive without harming others. For me morals very important and it is foundation which perpetuates existence so that society does not collapse completely. I don't reject the stronger survive perception but if the definition of strong breaking the rules, cheating, or taking other people's rights, Breaking the rules, cheating, or taking other people's rights, it is just a shortcut that destroys the individual and societal system if it is normalized. I imagine without morals,  crime rates are increasing, life is becoming restless, chaos is in society and the impact is that the economy is declining. Rules and laws are built on morals, the difference between right and wrong is also clear, what is good is not necessarily right, what is right is definitely good.

You are right. There are moments where your emotions or situations do chsnge your morality, maybe when you’re pissed off or when you are passing through hard times when majority of the people do not seem to care about you or the experience you are passing through at such time. I have had people say we are in a situation where honesty does not pay and has also become meaningless because what actually bother people before or what people used to see as a form of morality is no longer valued any more and in order hands, people who do not have any moral standards or respect are often glorified especially if you have money or you cashed out.

It is already changing the state of mids and how people interact with different circumstances. Of course there are commun standards that everybody should

Crisis going higher globally if people are hungry and need basic needs many will forget about morals or good behavior.
Shop and store keepers will be expecting more robberies more stealing thats for sure.
Financial crimes or soft fraud or scams including crypto scams nobody cant even investigate because police and law enforcement will be busy with real crimes.
Off course we will see more and more underground economy growing when goverment will get less and less tax funds and all the tax burden will be on last honest workers and tax payers.

It's possible that economic  crisis might make people forget morals and get involve in crimes, but I don't that's a good reason to get invole in crime,  because their are people that still make honest living despite the economic crisis.  I think it's just the personality of the person that really matters, because we still see a lot of people involve in crime even when the economy is very good. So I will not like people using the economic crisis as a reason to engage in crime, because it's a choice and you can also choose to live a honest life,  despite the economic crisis.

Consciously today in good conditions that it is better to survive with good norms upholding morals, but sometimes we have to look at the bad side that when the crisis comes hit and makes a person forced to do things that are beyond morals, there is a condition of compulsion when our condition is very hungry and can not do anything, in fertile land maybe we can still plant or whatever it is like old people used to be in our country Indonesia, But what is the condition if you are in an arid land, there is no food, and see other people eating, maybe if you are alone you will not do it, but if you are in a group you usually do anything to get what you need, I do not condone things like this to happen, I also do not generalize or normalize things like this, but there must be a group or someone who will do it when the crisis is severe enough, and I hope that does not happen to all of us now or in the future.

Have you ever heard the saying that, when two elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers the heavy hit?

That is the reality with war when it happens the economic impacts will be far worse on the poor than they will be on the rich.

Rich nations are seeing a little increase in the percentage of fuel prices, but poor nations are already having a much higher impact and increase in the price of fuel prices than necessary.

This is a well curated example of what economy crisis can cause. The poor feels the pain the more as the rich already reach some certain levels that it’ll take a total shutdown of the whole economy before they’ll feel the changes in the economy that’s really affecting the poor so massively now.

Developing nations are suffering more because of the war in the Middle East and for them to be called a developing nation, it is evident that they’ve a large number of middle class and poor people than the rich ones that resides there, so the impact of the fuel prices is affecting them and if it lingers, it could be more trouble to the nation as a whole when this poor people decide to look for another means for survival to escape this hard times.
