Is it still possible for beginners to make money in crypto today?

Hello everyone,
I’m still new to crypto and I’ve been trying to understand how things work before jumping in fully. One thing I keep hearing is that “the real money in crypto was made years ago” and that beginners coming in now are already too late.
But at the same time, I still see people making profits from Bitcoin, altcoins, trading, staking, and even just holding long term. So it makes me confused  is it really too late for beginners, or is it just harder now than before?
Personally, I feel beginners like us still have a chance, but only if we avoid common mistakes like rushing into trades, following fake signal groups, or investing in coins we don’t understand.
I would really like to hear from older members here:

If you were starting again today, what would you do differently?
I’m asking this not just for myself but for other beginners who may also be confused about whether crypto is still worth entering now.

Bitcoin should be seen as a very powerful pension plan, NOT a lottery ticket or an immediate source of income.
 
As such you are very early, people will continue buying it decades or centuries from now, either directly or by their government mandated pension plan (with hefty fees ofc)

So the best thing to do is to have a job and invest in Bitcoin a portion of your salary, wether it's 1% or 70% is totally up to you.
I'd recommend at least 10%-30% of what you have left after paying your bills.

The next question is When to buy Bitcoin and when to sell it, since Bitcoin's price goes through rough corrections that can be easly avoided, you should know when to take profits.

Simply put, you better wait until October this year to start investing in Bitcoin, and sell your entire position about 3 years later around fall 2029, when the investment ripens and before it starts to rot
Than wait 1 year and start buying again

Of course, why not.
You need skills and knowledge in trading.  If you combine these two important part, you can profit in trading even as a beginner.  But my question is, are you ready to make profits in crypto?  Have you already improved your trading skills?
Trading isn't always about profit, sometimes you need to experience losses to gain knowledge.

If not, I recommend investing in Bitcoin for the long term while you explore how crypto works, because that is the safest way for a newcomer as you learn more about the space.

Of course they can. Why not?  If anyone can still make money "in crypto ", so can beginners.

The people telling you its "too late" are usually the ones who gambled on a meme coins and lost.  If you treat it like a serious investment instead, there is still plenty of room to grow.  The biggest mistake beginners make is thinking they need to be a genius trader, when usually just being patient is the real superpower.  If I were starting today, I would probably stop looking for "the next big thing" and just focus on the boring, high-conviction stuff like investing in Bitcoin while ignoring all the noise.

No time is ever too late to invest in crypto, you just have to define your purpose, and you will be able to enjoy and take profit from the market, but it doesn't work like magic. You can invest in an asset today and see the price going down the next day you need to learn how to be patient and learn how not to be tempted by this wolf project, which promise a high return, while their goal is to turn you into a victim.

Since you are new I would suggest you go with the poplar known coins, Bitcoin in particular, maybe you can add few alts and hold them for long time.

Trading and investing still rely on price; the difference lies in the method of implementation. Which is this now people still doing the same thing they are still having a time to make an earnings with these but most likely its on trading, staking and one of the recent trends are with the Airdrops now depends on the project thats the time you are looking for not all airdrops are worth it to work some of them are just waste of time possible get rug or else low price on the market once release.

If you are a newbie in space this requires a capital could be a money or time and effort.

Play with price Volatility if you want to make money fast with Bitcoin, you need to learn trading and it will take some time to understand the charts but the chances of losing money still stands, also just because people are into crypto doesn't mean we are all making money, some people are losing more than they gain, but it all comes down to knowledge and understanding of each and everyone.

Yes, still, we are making money from crypto in various ways, like selling skills or from crypto trading. If you can develop yourself for crypto marketing and developing crypto-related dApps or something else, then you can get payment through crypto. As a beginner you can earn crypto from investing in Bitcoin; it's the easiest way without developing your skill. But you have to learn and make your own investment strategies for that.

Remember, there is no shortcut for making money from the crypto investment. There is no such money-making machine; you have to struggle and learn as much as possible. You don't need to be confused, but you have to improve yourself slowly and learn market analysis. Without knowing how Bitcoin investment works, you can't make money, and later you might regret it. Example is if you buy land before an area gets well developed, you will have far more profit than someone that bought land in the same area after some development, but both of you will still make money. That is how bitcoin is. If you invest in bitcoin, you will still make money after 2 or 3 years and bitcoin will also get to all-time high but those that invested in the past when bitcoin was at lower prices and not yet sell will make far more money.

You are very correct. Investors will always make money from bitcoin, weather you are new or an old investor.
Bitcoin goes to new all time high in every bull season, so all you just need is to buy Bitcoin and do not be in a hurry to sell it. When the next bull season comes you will definitely make some profit even as a new investor.

Possible or not for the beginner to make in cryptocurrency depend which one way do you want to use, if you want to start from joining airdrop, bounty or another free way to earn cryptocurrency right now looks difficult because small chance to earn much from new airdrop project nowadays. But if you have capital and start trading I think you can and possible to make money in cryptocurrency right now although you are the beginner, I don't think difference between make money in crypto trough airdrop or trading because nowadays always have chance to earn money but trough free way almost quite difficult.

Yes, it is posible. it was a great advantage to start in the 2017-2021 period but i started after 2020 and sometimes i made money with the right strategy. i think the important thing is to analyze knowledge patience and risk management well. today many things have changed but there are still opportunities...

What is the safest way for someone new to start? First of all, proceed step by step in the stock market with small money. DCA and only enter with money you can afford to lose. my first mistake was to leave a large amount on one exchange i always took that loss as a lesson. learn about the cold wallet part wallet derivatives and security issues that i still haven't learned and have been researching for so long...

If you were starting again today, what would you do differently? In my early years, i rushed into altcoins. Today, my priority would be long term fundamentals, liquidity and team review. i would be disciplined in money management do DCA to protect the main capital and apply planned position reduction instead of panic selling with sudden news. Finally, i cared about emotional control and stuck to the strategy instead of panicking with every fall...

In short: it has become difficult but not impossible. Make education discipline and safety your priority.
