I only use KYC free exchanges for buying and selling.

If you are in Europe I recommend Peach Bitcoin > https://peachbitcoin.com/index.html
There is a caveat with this platform, you can trade €1000 every 24 hours KYC free but anything
over that and you have to submit your details.

Another worthy platform is HODLHODL >  https://hodlhodl.com/
Again KYC free with no limits.

Also be mindful these are peer-to-peer exchanges with escrow but do your research and stay safe.

Hi im delanuit new to bitcoin where should I start buying and selling it and which exchanges or apps do you recommend for security and ease of use?

thank you helpping
You should start on what is available and allowed exchange in your country, so that you will not have any problem, list all the license exchange in your country and start their create the account, kyc if needed, and fund your wallet with usdt and buy some bitcoin.
Be careful on fake link of an exchange they might stole your funds in your exchange if you were given a wrong link, good luck

If I was in a position to advise, the best place I would probably advise anyone to start is by using a trusted and widely used exchange which works in their country. For example, for someone in Nigeria, platforms like Binance or Bybit are usually the most reliable and easiest platforms to navigate as a beginner and they also support the P2P trading which mean you can buy bitcoin directly using your local currency on the appreciate without stress.
What I guide many of beginners to do is create an account, complete verifications which are required then use the P2P platform to firstly buy USDT with the local currency then use the USDT to purchase or convert it to bitcoin. It is something which works very well for our own community here. The next advise I used to give is simply for you to be very careful with security using the 2 factor verification and other methods of security Protections.

By that question you asked here, it means that you are not actually ready to start. So don't dive unto something that you don't know and much better at this point do some research about Bitcoin, also those important points that you need to know.

Its good that you already know this forum since you can start you're researching here. Also there are lots of learning materials posted online, then try to dig up lots of information to learn not only the good side but also those other things you need to consider before starting up your Bitcoin investment.

You're a newbie who probably was introduced to bitcoin or maybe you read the forum somewhere and decides to come here and quickly decides to come here and ask about how you'll get involved. You already have the positive mindset of becoming a Bitcoiner but beyond that, you need to calmly learn about bitcoin, understand it to a certain level before you can start buying and selling. You need to have a good knowledge of what you want to venture into before taking action.

I've read too many helpful responsive posts under this thread including the ones from experienced members, I believe you've read them too, and if you can follow the instructions, you'll definitely succeed.

Thank you, i’d never heard of these two platforms before. As a newbie, i have a few thoughts and some questions. How does the daily €1,000 limit work on each? Is the identity verification process lengthy if the limit is exceeded? Have you seen anything regarding transaction fees and buyer seller trust on HODLHODL? How does escrow security work on both platforms and what do users do to avoid the risk of fraud?

It's best not to accidentally exceed €1,000 for your transaction, as this is usually the trigger for a request for identity details. During this process, your funds are usually temporarily held.

I'm not yet familiar with this platform; their fees are explained in their ToS page

You can trade on other exchanges and will not limit you on the amount you want to trade. $1000 is a small volume, there are many decentralize exchanges out there that Wil allow you to buy as much Bitcoin that you want.

Some of the exchanges like hodlhodl doesn't have liquidity unless your country has much users. The last time I check, my country was available but there were few traders that were willing to buy and because of low number of traders, the asking price was very low, way low that it will discourage you to buy and sell Bitcoin on the platform for local currency. However, you can look into Bisq, they are one of the best exchange to buy and sell Bitcoin and doesn't require Kyc.

Another thing I will like you to do, you should visit https://kycnot.me, it has list of website services that doesn't request for Kyc, it contain exchanges mostly the decentralize exchanges, they have other wesbiste such as casino but since your focus is exchanges without Kyc, they have many on the platform where you will not do any verification.

It is good that you're planning to buy bitcoin, I think anyone who understand the value of bitcoin will not hesitate to get started. However, talking about where to start buying and selling.  first, I would advice you concentrate on buying because it's too early for you to start talking about when to sell and as a matter of fact, you haven't invested anything yet so you still have a long way to go. But I must let you know that there's no specific time to buy bitcoin, if your discretionary income is available then I will advice you start today or tomorrow, and I will recommend you to use blue wallet it is actually a non custodial wallet I mean,  you're the only one that have control over your assets with your seed phrase.

You can have two different options when it comes of buying and selling your coins it could be with the use of the centralized exchange which is requires your information or likely requires a mandatory KYC or else use a decentralized exchange which is aims for anonymity and security at the same time. Also once you decide you must need to have a secured wallet such as an electrum and a hardware wallet for storing your asset without worrying about online attacks because this must need to have a confirmation with the device unless you leak your seed phrase.

With appearance and stricter enforcement of KYC and AML globally, nowadays most centralized exchanges require mandatory KYC on their users but there are still no KYC Centralized Exchanges but choices are no longer too much. Even people can find and use no KYC Centralized Exchanges, they must be very ready with KYC in the future as these exchanges are Centralized and they're very sensitive to be requested by governments for obeying newest regulations in their nations. Soon these exchanges will have to change their ToS, and make KYC is mandatory like most other centralized exchanges already did.

Hi im delanuit new to bitcoin where should I start buying and selling it and which exchanges or apps do you recommend for security and ease of use?

thank you helpping
Well first of, the most common way to buy Bitcoin is through an exchange or a broker and then it is stored in your wallet, there are basically 2 types of wallets;

A custodial wallet (you do not own your seed phrase, therefore you're entrusting your Bitcoin to a 3rd party). These are mostly provided by CEx(centralized exchange), here you download the app e.g Binance, Coinbase, OKX, Crypto.com, e.t.c. Depending on your country's regulations, you do your KYC to get verified, you can either use a bank card(depending on your country) or use P2P to buy and sell your Bitcoin.

The other wallet is a non custodial wallet, where you are a sole owner of your private keys and seed phrase, and you have full control and ownership of your Bitcoin and coins. Some of these wallets are Trustwallet, Base(Coinbase wallet, not the CEx), e.t.c, here no KYC, most use a 3rd party payment service to help buy and sell your coins, mostly using bank cards too.

My advice, DYOR on whatever wallet you'll be needing, your wallet is basically your Bitcoin bank where you can store, transfer and receive your Bitcoin. Watch tutorial videos (from YouTube and other channels, some are available in the apps), read terms and conditions, some CExs give a little tutorial on how to trade and use their tools, check them out.

Try understanding your country's regulations on crypto too so as to know your limitations and how to overcome them if there be any need to, and if you're testing any tool, start with a little amount, when you're comfortable and confident on how to use it, then you can go all in.

I'm sure you didn't stumble upon the forum by mistake and probably have people around you that are already invested in bitcoin. I will advise you get physical guide from them if you're not good at doing proper research on your own because a simple search will reveal the information you're trying to get here.

Apart from regions where some exchanges have delisted certain currency, you can literally buy and sell your coin on any of the popular exchanges like binance, bybit, bitget, mexc etc. all these are places you can comfortably sell your coin or buy your coin. The only additional information you need is to ascertain how friendly your region is with crypto.

Don't buy the daily €1,000 but use small amount. However you still connect the money at your bank and if there is a big transaction, your bank may suspicious. If you buy Bitcoin in KYC free exchanges, you don't have to do verification. But buying daily €1,000 can makes their operator suspicious.

I am not using KYC free exchanges but I used centralized exchange. I don't mind with the verification as that is difficult to avoid in my country. It is your choice selecting where buying Bitcoin and you already have so many options to buy Bitcoin.
