hello, i have an idea about living and studying in Dubai for a very long time... but due to the sad situations that have happened recently i am undecided whether to go or not  because the city, which was advertised as 'very safe' that everyone saw suddenly fell into a position with security vulnerabilities... i am sure that living conditions have not become difficult due to the war situation but i think that sectors such as education and entrepreneurship have been interrupted. Do you think I should go no matter what

How would you consider going to a country that is not safe? Your life is more important than any skills or degree. You should consider going to another country or postponing your planned studies in Dubai until the war ends. The terms of peace should also interest you because the war might continue after a ceasefire. For now, the Middle East is a dangerous zone.

It is not much different now and almost everything is back normal but they are being cautious that is why there is still some uncertainity but war can happen at any country so you can never feel safe no matter where you are unless you decide to move to Antartica.

I've got friends there and they said that life is still normal there. Although they receive notification if there's some missiles coming to particular areas. Life is continuing there but if I am you, I'll delay this plan of mine. Not going to remove it in the future but I'll wait until the war is about to get over and things have become calm. Just do something else for now and continue it there when the dust settles but if you insist, that's your choice and despite that it's a good place to go with but when there's uncertainty that's happening, you shouldn't go.

If you are fearful about security, of course you shouldn't go, because we are living times of uncertainty and instability regards diplomatic matters in the world, besides it being close to a hot zone, just like every corners of middle east. I guess safest places to go right now are Latin America, some asian countries, Western Europe and North America. These are less likely places for warlike conflicts to take place, due to the defensive resources available or due to the historical tendency of the local people for pacifism and passivity.

Currently we know how the Iran and Israel war is going and how they have been a series of attacks striking on both military and civilian zones, if it were to be before now, I would have suggest to you that you should go because there is peace in the country, but seeing Iran aggressively attacking on with neighboring countries is so alarming, because we don't know what next their target may be or where, therefore we advise you to hold on for now while we see things getting normal or you can see that other countries that might not be involved in anything related to this ongoing war with Iran.

Fact is that the living standard of all the nation of the world have dropped far below what it use to be and even nations that are at peace are just still hanging on the mercies of God. Io doubt things have gone really bad in Dubai that one can't visit. There might be some level of downs but yet, it's still very possible to go out and see things out by yourself. In a time when the crisis looks relatively fresh, you might just reconsider making a move at this point, even if things appears relatively stable, tension might still be on ground which makes it unhealthy to embark on such journey. If the resource is readily available, just keep it on the put while monitoring how everything unfolds.

Even if the person is saying that they are living their normal life is actually not really normal because those missiles that's always coming is definitely hitting a sensitive place in the country and sometimes evacuating people from the direction might not completely done before it dropped so either life or properties will be lost, so actually until there is no more missile strike on them before live could be normal for everyone but however you are right because delay or suspending traveling in those country is important or instead divert the education in their country so that they wouldn't wait for the war.

Yeah, I know that as well. They're giving themselves courage through their words of saying that things are still normal even if they are not. The warnings given to them is to find a safe place and go far away from the windows so if some explosions will cause the windows to break is that they'll not hit by the pieces of it. I also want to go there with how they're maintaining things right for the people there is impressive. But I want to see this war to end as soon as possible so that everyone from there and nearby countries will have a peaceful life again.

I think, the decision to go to Dubai is directly related to your goals and risk tolerance. While education and business opportunities are still strong, security concerns and instability situations can impact plans. First of all, research the current situation of educational institutions and the business sector visa and accommodation processes and personal security reports. Talk to those who have recently lived there. Alternative plans (distance education, short term trial, emergency return) should be ready.
