Is the 2026 Supercycle still on the table?

Why did you think of the supercycle this year? Maybe you look too much at the news because there are some famous figures saying bitcoin will go up and the community often mentions the supercycle, but for me this will not happen now or this year is still in a long bearish phase.
I think prepare your funds to be ready to buy more bitcoin in times of decline, because your long-term plan should not think about the increase in the near future and focus more on buying.

Based on multiple analysis and popular opinion,  it is expected that this year bitcoin would experience a recovery after the peak and correction stage last year. So i don't think there is any possibility of bitcoin's price getting to $55k even after the little retracement.

Bitcoin could see a $80k-$90k price margin at the end of the year or maybe more than that based on fundamental or technical factors. This price predictions are not guarantee or any form of financial advise and should be treated with caution during investing. Currently, it is a perfect time to buy Bitcoin, if you want to hold for a long term then you must hold for a period of 5 to 8 years. But ultimately, those are just their prediction and they are simply leveraging their reputation to influence the market, making it unfold according to their desired scenario. But it doesn't mean that it could happen though even if it is being predicted by this personalities. Remember that Bitcoin market is very volatile so no one can really predict the future here. We all have our speculations that we might see a super-cycle, but if it is not happening then that is going to be theory nothing else.

Just like now, if we are indeed in a super cycle then it should be happening already. We are entering the 4th month of this year and we haven't experience it. On the contrary, market is declining and so this could still be the old cycle of bearish season and it will last at least for two years.

Stick to your original plan, be ready to hold for few years if necessary. Don't see this as a bad scenario, rather identify this as an opportunity to accumulate more coins before Bitcoin finally reach a new bullish season. Also, don't pressure yourself to wait for the dip in order to buy. The perfect price is almost impossible to be spotted, and those who try doing so end not purchasing Bitcoin at all, because they are always waiting for a cheaper price than it is right now.

Go for the DCA strategy, while drawing long term plans and you must be fine.

Is it still a super cycle if we have been in a bear market for so long? My idea of a supercycle is that it will continue way beyond when it usually ends. If there was going to be a super cycle, then we shouldn't have had this bear season at all, at least not this bad. I wasn't expecting a supercycle anyway. Sounds too good to be true. A point will always come when people will decide to take profit when the price is high and that causes a dip which might lead to a bear market.
We are not getting a supercycle, but I am still a little bit bullish. I believe we would see Bitcoin go above 90k this year.

Pretty much yes, just because the market is getting corrected there will be no chance of supercycle but it's justified for you to doubt if supercycle will even be there in the first place.
The only famous KOL shilling for supercycle is only CZ so far, the other seems to be clouded with doubts which means confident isn't high.
Doesn't change the fact that I will keep doing DCA and hold bitcoin though, I'm sure it will be fruitful in the long run once gold and oil lost their shine.

It isn't despite of what's going in the Middle East. On the contrary, the conflict there puts the entire global economy on unstable grounds. Therefore, it's just reasonable to consider moving some of your money into Bitcoin.

We're in the middle of an expected bear season. This isn't brought by the war. This is part of the cycle.

The possibility of a supercycle is still on the table. There are still 3 quarters left in 2026. Anything could happen. Otherwise, this year is expectedly bearish. Yeah, it's wise to keep an amount ready in case the market plunges further.

3 years might be short. The ATH following the halving takes place at least more than a year later.

I think it will be different from the last bear market. Unless something worse happens that will make the financial market go down or affect Bitcoin negatively, I don't think it will get worse than it already has. I understand that I have a bias towards Bitcoin, but falling below $60k is not something I believe will happen. To me, the worst part is over. The time it was nose-diving was the time it could have gone as low as possible. This doesn't mean the price will immeidatl start climbing. It will be keep hovering around the $60k-$70k range for a while, but slowly, it will climb.
The year won't be red all through. There is still a long way to go. This is only the 4th month.

Our Elliot Wave expert has posted a prediction in January which would fit the "Supercycle" narrative.

He correctly predicted the drop down to 60k. But that drop would, in his original model, be the last major lower low before the price goes up again. His update in February leaves open the possibility of some further drop down to the 55-60k area, but not lower.

However, we can speculate if this would be still a "Supercycle" or simply be a "normal" cycle with reduced volatility to the downside. We've been already ~50% down from the ATH, so this can also be the bottom searching in a regular bear market. And this would not change if 60k was not broken to the downside.

Personally, I also tend to that interpretation: we're either in the bottoming phase or still in a bear market (but probably in the final stages before the capitulation). A "Supercycle" for me would have been a bottom above 80k, but the lines are blurry anyway. The current prices look good to buy, but there may be lower lows ahead for the patient, especially if the insecure geopolitical situation persists.
