[ANN][NNS] 996-Coin, a fun PoS 3.0 project

Hi everyone,

We would like to introduce 996-Coin, a simple but fun PoS coin based on (surprise) Bitcoin and the defunct Bitcoin PoS (BPS) project, whose PoS 3.0 consensus algo was used as starting point.
The coin is the result of an inside joke (ask us about it on our discord server if you're interested) and we just wanted to use it to tip community members, but it became a bit bigger than we expected after its first listing on a small exchange. Still, this is mainly a fun project, and we'll just see where it takes us.

Hybrid launch
PoW bootstrap phase: 4.8M pre-mine (0.43% of max. supply) for airdrops, tipping, giftcodes, the liquidity pool of our internal discord swap, and, shame on us, 480k for each of the four team members, which is equivalent to about 50 USD at the time of writing.

Target block spacing: 3 minutes
Target timespan: 10 blocks

Reward schedule
Reduction interval: 996,000 blocks (about 5.7 years). 90% of the coins are in circulation by then.*
At each reduction point, the subsidy drops to 1/10 of the previous level.
- blocks 1 to 500: 9960 NNS (pre-mine)
- blocks 501 to 996,000: 996 NNS
- blocks 996,001 to 1,992,000: 99.6 NNS
- blocks 1,992,001 to 2,988,000: 9.96 NNS
- etc.

*Asymptotic max. supply: 1,102,240,000 NNS

Staking characteristics
- Fairness: The effective per-UTXO staking cap is 125,000 NNS, so also smaller wallets can find a block once in a while.
- Multi PoS reward phase until block 260,000 (about two years), after which cold / delegated staking becomes active. We have no idea if the coin survives until then but we're optimistic

- Until then: Reward recipients per block: 10; the active staker keeps one share plus remainder while the remaining shares are distributed to previous PoS stakers. in our opinion, that's more fun than “The winner takes all”.
