When I first joined this forum, I noticed many beginners (including myself at the beginning) make the same mistakes without even knowing it. So I decided to write this post to help new users avoid them.
Here are some of the most common ones:
1. Posting just to increase activity
Many beginners think posting many short replies will help them grow faster. But the truth is quality posts matter more than quantity. One helpful post is better than 20 useless replies.
2. Not reading forum rules
Every section of the forum has its own rules. Some people get banned or their posts get deleted simply because they didn't take time to read the rules first.
3. Asking questions that have already been answered
Most beginner questions are already explained somewhere on the forum. Using the search button first can save time and also help you understand better before asking.
4. Trying to earn merit too fast
Merit is not something you beg for. It comes naturally when your post is useful, original, and easy to understand. Instead of chasing merit, focus on helping others.
5. Copying other people’s posts
Some beginners copy content from the internet or from other users. This usually leads to getting ignored or even banned. Original posts always get more respect.

You said they are newbies, how would they know that the question has been answered before? If an old member asked such questions, people can post bad about how he has been on the forum but does not know what he is asking, but newbies are welcome to ask any questions that they want to ask and they will be answered. It is better than to be positive rubbish if the questions are good.

The mistake is teaching the others when you are a newbie and you need to learn. This mistake makes you are unlikely a newbie, while if actual newbie want to teach, perhaps their education will be not too good while contains lot of inaccuracy.

What makes you a newbie is the simple fact that you lack proper knowledge of how bitcoin works as well as how the forum works and so, it's just normal that you tend to fumble sometimes. In the midst of those tumble comes and avenue for the right lesson that builds you up into a better forum user.

No one joins the forum and right from the start had everything all figured out. It's normal to not know how everything works at the start and in the process of engaging in the forum leant from your errors and grow in the process. It's only those that have failed to learn that actually failed in reality.

There’s nothing bad in trying to earn merit so fast if that’s what you want . So far you’re capable and do have something to offer then go for it. If you end up getting a tag then it shows you weren’t capable after all and you should have waited, learn  , contribute without worrying too much about it..

Once you start contributing positively, merit will come in for you.. the only thing you will be needing then is consistency.

Maybe to an extent we may not be able to avoid making mistake by 100% but we can still maintain to be more conscious of avoiding making some costly mistakes about the forum, the first one is to avoid anything that goes against the rules and regulation of the platform, and to ensure this is being maintained, we have to be consistent a learning to know more about how things are being done here, while we are still learning, we should make much of Reading than posting to avoid anything that could print a false image about us, because we could actually make some mistakes and don't be aware of such until we are being informed to observe what transferred.

I think you omitted something which is not teaching when you should be learning, you create lots of topics to teach when you should still be learning to understand how to properly engage in the forum and some of your topics are what you should've come accross in the forum if you committed to learning first.

I think that would be wanting to contribute to every board in the forum which got me fatigued and frustrated because I couldn't, but I later found out that you must not write everywhere, you can only select certain sections that drives your interest and focus your contributions there.

Is it possible to be learning without asking questions to know if what you are learning is the right thing for you. When you ask question about what you don't know and you want to know to improve in this community you have to ask question, and you will get a response from different users before you know the right thing to do next. If you have being following wrong things before it will be easy for you to know and put stop immediately, because it will make you to remain in this community without any sign of improvement.

You don't need to be an hurry to earn merit, because what you learn from the community is what will make you to earn merit to grow. People that understand this community very well know how to rewards quality Posters and how to build newbies to start developing quality Post, which is what the community want.
