As the war between Israel, Iran and the United States keeps escalating and with no negotiations on the horizon, and the Strait of Hormuz remaining closed, Trump made an earlier tweet, signalling other countries that are affected by the 20% oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz.

The whole Strait is not closed, there is a passage near Iran that ships are allowed to pass through but those ships are paying Iranian government money before they can pass. In total, the ships that are passing there are still significantly reduced after the war started.

What I know Trump has been saying and which is the answer to the question that you asked is that United States does not rely on the Strait, that United States has enough oil. Do not mind Trump, anything that is happening in that Strait will affect the world and affect United States.

The question is that did Trump consulted the UK and other European countries  before heading to war with Iran on behalf of the Israel. You can not drag other nations into a war they did not bargain for in the onset.

So long as the Strait of Hormuz continuous to linger under a shutdown the global economy with every country will be affected still, and that includes the United States of America, directly or indirectly they will be affected.

They don't have to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, they've got Venezuela and have a lot of it on their mainland. And as expected, Iran won't officially open it as they're no longer interested in negotiations with Trump. They even call him a liar when he's said that there were some negotiations happening. But the condition that's been said about paying them with chinese yuan is a slap to Trump's face and they'll allow vessels to pass but that's so much money for each vessel shall pass at the cost of $2M.

And Iran responded to that condition with the conditions they offered to Trump from the Iranian side:

The UK are wise all of a sudden, the US literally used them and all of Europe to fight Russia for the past two years, and they want to do just the same with iran?! This is not a war for the United kingdom, I'm glad they're seeing it as it should be. I will make my thing brief by saying, this is Dumdum Trump saying "Go to the strait and negotiate to buy your oil with Petroyuan" Thanks for that Donald Trump, it has got to be the best way to put an end to the Petrodollar. Mind you,  the strait of Hormuz has always been open, but not to the US and Israel and those not ready to pay with Petroyuan.

United States undervalued Iran. They said they have won but only the nuclear enrichment part is where we them them won. Iran still has enough missiles and drones than they expected. United States want regime change, they said their is regime change but we know that is a big lie. Let us see what will happen, but Trump is already giving statement like United States may soon leave West Asia. About the paratroopers that were deployed recently, we do not yet know their aim. There were many United States Military presence before in West Asia.

What is extortion there, the main thing is that they blocked the strait because United States and Israel are killing them. They are also attacking the Gulf nations because of the same reason. Now they said they will begin to bomb United States companies like Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft and Google in the Gulf nations starting from today in retaliation to anything military operations United States and Israel is carrying out in their country. So you want them to fold their hands?

Trump already know that people are not that in support of him. He wanted Germany, UK, France, Japan, China and some other countries to help to open the Strait of Hormuz which he called Strait of Trump at times. Why do they not all listen? None of them accepted. He wants them to be in the war they do not call for.

We do not need to think one side. If the war ends, there is high possibility that all these might end.
