Hello everyone

A warning about xitswap.com.

The website is currently online for a long time and i have been watching them, but exchange functionality is not working.
Be cautious and avoid depositing any money or interacting with this site.

I could not find any way to contact the site owner through the support area i attempted to reach them were unsuccessful.

Thanks for the heads up, trevoid. Reading the name of this swap has got a double meaning, if you know what I mean.

I could not find any way to contact the site owner through the support area i attempted to reach them were unsuccessful.
There's the contact us at the bottom and also the contacts for marketing and partnerships. Maybe they'll be able to convey your message to their support group if it happens that they're a separate department of this swap. But I think it's just the same and run by one-man team.

I run some search on the exchange and I saw someone have reported the exchange before

https://monerica.com/site/xitswap

The complaint was that the swap was not going through. After several attempts to reach support, there was no response, and the deposit had already been made.

The report was submitted last year, 2025, and last updated this year, which means whoever did the report is still somehow following up on the case; it’s best to avoid such an exchange.

Thanks for the heads up, trevoid. Reading the name of this swap has got a double meaning, if you know what I mean.
The name already talks about itself. The same in your mind dear "Exitswap" pronounced the same as "xitswap" which means forget about to swap here. Lol They chose the cheapest domain.

If the website doesn't operate perfectly and the contact links are inavailable, then most likely it is a scam service. I don't know if they are promoting the brand elsewere but I hope willing to try the service finds the way to this thread, as I can't find other warnings online. Exitswap might be an exit-scam.

I am thinking of a different thing and that's read as sh!t.  Grin

For those who likes to use swap services, there's a bunch of these in the forum that are reputable. And it's better to use those than of these so, this heads up done by trevoid is on time because we're seeing a lot of them lately.  As per whois; the domain is about to expire by next month.

As I mentioned in my last post, there are no evidences that someone got scammed by this xitswap service, but many signs prove that it can't be credible enough. I don't know how victims fall to those scams but I really hope that they do enough researches before using it and I guess this is the only topic regarding this service online. Thank you op for sharing. Bitcointalk remains the perfect source for those warnings.

To me, this looks like a basic template design for a swap exchange that is somewhere in the middle of the development process. Almost every feature or contact is "soon". The news block shows some random, outdated information.
Also, dummy images "your logo" in the partner list.
It's unbelievable to me that someone trusts a site like this and sends coins there

Unfortunately some people fall for these scams  the site owners goal is quick money. We’ve seen several examples: jud-ex scammed 1 BTC, darkmap scammed 3 ETH, and the same scammer created copy sites that trapped more victims, like byware and nokyc-noaml. I always do my best to research and analyze new or suspicious exchanges and share my findings and warnings so users don’t get scam.

Let’s help each other, and protect the community.

Unfortunately, the exchange rate, some "paid articles," and AI recommendations might make such services trusted for beginners, so creating such topics may be necessary in the future.

You've done a good job recently, and I consider you trustworthy enough. I've added you to my trust list and encourage other DT members to do the same.

We are not supposed to make use of an exchange when we don't have much idea about how they have their reputation, this makes it very necessary that we conduct some level of research before choosing one for our personal use, moreover, an exchange simply mean that we are in custody of them and they can do as they want anytime because not your keys not your coins, let's be informed and also prepare ourselves against such platform that are of low reputation and completely avoid them.

They design these sites in such a way and display everything including price updates in such a way that any crypto user can think of this site as a real exchange. And this is the sad reality. We should not deposit funds in any exchange without having enough knowledge about the exchange, because if we are cheated by these exchanges in any way, then no action can be taken against them since their representatives cannot be reached. So crypto users have to be more careful.

With some cheap AI tools, designing those applications becomes easier than before. Promotion also can be managed via AI content that looks professional. Unfortunetly, people still can fall into those scam traps even well experienced ones. We frequently see these sites even before the Ai emerging, since those scripts can be sold in the darkweb.

We should not deposit funds in any exchange without having enough knowledge about the exchange, because if we are cheated by these exchanges in any way, then no action can be taken against them since their representatives cannot be reached.
Post warning about them in the communities where you are active. Give them bad rating in review platforms. Report the website to the domain provider and the hoster. This is the best anybody can do.

Yes, it is very important to report them on various platforms so that crypto users who are still not aware of these sites can be warned. Now, due to AI, the number of different types of scam sites is increasing which is creating a much more dangerous situation for crypto users. Basically, scammers use all such trending systems to scam so that they can quickly succeed in working according to their objectives.

No evidence but it's a good warning when we see these swaps are taking deposits and who knows when someone falls for it. And by the looks it, the website looks like a template. I agree, we can just hope that whoever lands on this swap will start to do their research before making a decision of spending any money on them. There are a lot of good swaps and reputable ones that they can pick instead of this.

AI can be used badly like using for good purposes. The best to do is to keep making as much noise as possible and the most important to report to domain/hosting providers because they usually interact with reports when made from many persons with detailed proofs. Last this is to keep reminding others about the importance of doing as much researches as possible before using any service. AI can be a good tool for this purpose.

That's absolutely true. You should know that replicating their scheme across multiple domains costs them almost nothing. They simply change the logo and the exchange's name, and then they start promoting it to attract victims. Or they might even hire a bounty manager to market it for them. Indeed, the examples you mentioned [jud-ex, darkmap, byware and nokyc-noaml] are clear evidence that these scammers follow a steal-and-run strategy.

I’m well aware that as long as there are beginners and people who don’t do proper research and trust before verifying, any new or suspicious exchange can easily succeed in scamming some users and stealing their funds. However, as long as there are people who investigate, expose the red flags of these exchanges, and warn others, the number of victims can be significantly reduced, because any new exchange relies on appearing legitimate in its early stages in order to spread.
