I just wanted to check the price of bitcoin, I saw it at $100000, and the price is still increasing. What is happening? I am very lucky to be holding bitcoin.

 I don't know if it's a glitch or something or maybe it's April fool cause I checked on Coinmarketcap and I'm seeing it's price at $68k. I was thrilled when I read the thread title because if such was true, it would be a very massive surge and very beautiful way to begin the month. Still, it won't hurt for something wonderful to happen though.. I'm nothing if not optimistic that price will increase this time around and it won't be just a slight one.

I didn't need to check because this should be likewise an increase of 50% or maybe more to reach this amount.

How could it happened? A potential glitch? But that normally happens only on exchanges like what happened in Binance on the past. Also the question is that, is this true? Which of course doesn't, but if that really happened, how unlucky the shorts at during that time, and how very lucky those who are awake and currently looking at the charts when it happened.

I have seen it too but it is nothing like that even though you are doing an April Fools joke it was a good joke but you should have said that Bitcoin has reached zero it was more scary which would have made a lot of people watch. Although a lot of people are seeing it as a joke but recently the price of Bitcoin has not increased. If it was like that then it was supposed to be a joke and the next day as things change in our farm the price of Bitcoin would have come back. If it was like that in reality then those who had Bitcoin would have been surprised. Such a reality can be seen in the future but it seems difficult for the price of Bitcoin to go up that much in one night. There was not much scary in this joke but it has been quite good as of today and in reality the price of Bitcoin is tending to decrease rather than increase.

I don't think it's a few minutes but just a few seconds and it went back to the actual market price. Because if it will take few minutes, many will start dumping at that point like the day traders who closely monitoring the charts. But it's gone in seconds and that's why it's probably a technical glitch from an exchange that has got a very huge volume. I don't know which exchange actually or from someone who tried to buy at that price making it as a premium price. Anyway, all good now and regardless of date yesterday, I've also seen that green candle posted somewhere.

It's either april fool or price feed from some shady exchange glitching.
But imagine if they ever pulled a prank on the on chain oracle where thousands of lending defi is getting their price feed information from to liquidate asset to prevent bad debt.

This is definitely April fool or maybe in your dreams because bitcoin was no were around $90k in April talkless of $100k. Indeed you are lucky to be holding bitcoin that is if you actually have a reasonable amount of it in your portfolio. Patience is something that is needed here and there is no need of worrying and day dreaming for the price to reach $100k.
