I would really do this when bitcoin has no longer making valuable returns. But definitely not now, bitcoin has still a brighter future ahead compared to USD.

The dollar's fine for everyday spending, but as a long-term investment? no so much, inflation slowly eats away at it. BRICS and other countries moving away from the dollar shows its not totally safe over time either. Also, always keep an emergency fund, thats your safety net if something unexpected happens. Selling bitcoin or other longterm assets in a panic usually ends badly. Better approach is a mix, some dollars for shortterm stuff, and bitcoin or other hard assets for long term growth.

Don't put everything in dollars, they just lose value over time. Get your safety net first, then think about growing your money.

USD is more of a stable coin, and the US dollar is fiat currency and controlled by the US government. It is vulnerable to inflation and devaluation too. Therefore, selling your bitcoin to accumulate bitcoin is not the right thing to do.
Bitcoin is an asset, and as well as digital currency. It is a store of value, and as such suitable for long term growth.
To me, the reverse should be the case, your USD should rather be converted to bitcoin where there is confidence for potential growth and massive profit on the long run.
When you keep your Bitcoin in USD, you don't make any significant profit. But keeping your money in bitcoin is an investment, and is the main reason why it is gaining widespread adoption, and gaining interest from renowned institutional investors like Strategy, Black Rock etc.

Obviously this thread was created as a joke but I also noticed something else reading it. Extremes are no good in any direction. Yes selling all the btc and hold usd is a bad idea but it is also a bad idea to sell all the USD and go all in on bitcoin. A balanced portfolio makes more sense than anything imo. Hold some btc, some usd, some stocks, some physical metals, even some bonds maybe. If you are rich enough add some real estate too. (or add some REIT) In the end you'll notice it is not only about "numbers go up", you need some cashflow too. Stocks and real estate are good cash generating investments.

April fools post but make sense indeed. But I still not gonna trust USD over bitcoin, its not as stable as it could be and just an economic indicator. The value of US in our country is mooning its because our country is falling in economics. But if they hold bitcoin in the long run they will understand how inflation works best.

Yes its a powerful currency but when the lleaders screwed it economic growth then theres still a chance for it to go down while bitcoin hqs different metrics and market volatility.

Even if maybe there is no Bitcoin today, accumulating USD is not an investment, and it can never replace Bitcoin. No matter the amount of USD you accumulate, it doesn't change anything about the value of fiat; there will still be a fall in value that will make the money weaker, so this is not a smart investment.

Even if Bitcoin is dying today, USD can never be helpful to people; no matter what, fiat will always remain the same because it has always been a currency that is controlled by the government.

Right now the dollar investment is the best investment in the world, so I will advise you to accumulate USD. weekly or monthly and don’t use only your discretionary income use more than your discretionary income, and no need for having an emergency funds because the Dollar investment will always protect you during emergency periods that why is the best investment in the world right now.

As an investor you can take the volatilities in the different fiat currency we have and try to make profit from them, you being successful from this does not make them a very good investment in replacements of things like Bitcoin, gold, silver and other investments that are real assets. The fiat currency like the US dollar is not an asset it is a fiat currency that is going to die one day very soon it will go out of existence just like how other strong currencies have gone out of existence in the past. The US is not going to be in control of the economy of the world forever, there is going to be another country that will dominate and then they'll want to make their own currencies to be the dominant currency that means soon US dollars is not going to be a very good investment for a very long time, you can hold it for now just for the meantime but you should always have investments in real asset like Bitcoin.
