That being the Banks will keep on printing dollars. FIAT currency right now is all an illusion, as its price is adopted to trust. I have not seen any such news yet. I doubt whether it is even possible. However, currently the dollar is already the international currency. And many of the world leaders want to get out of the dollar-based economy. They want to conduct international trade on the basis of its alternative currency. Relax your mind, world leaders have not converged anywhere to agree that the US dollar will now be the world's official currency, that cannot happen because dollar is centralized and a property of the united states, other countries will never agree to be a part of USA. Switching the whole world to one currency like the dollar can't just happen overnight. Every country manages it's own economy, and giving that up means losing control over inflation and financial decisions.

Even something smaller like the euro took years to implement, and not all countries joined. Imagine converting everything if 1 USD = 50 in local currency, prices and salaries would suddenly feel very different.

I've never heard of this and my country's government has never stated that the old currencies will be declared illegal on a specific date. Do you understand the statement that the dollar will become the world's currency and where did you get this from? I personally don't know from which perspective to comment because the discussion of the dollar as the world's currency will never happen globally, given that every country has its own currency. Because it is impossible for the dollar to be used as a world currency when a country can manage its own country independently and what does independence mean for a country if every country's currency must use the dollar.
