This morning the world leaders decided to adopt Dollar as the world currency, meaning every nation in the world will now start using dollar as their official currency.
Is this a good adoption, the government of my country has moved into action in printing dollar that can now be used in my country by citizens, the most disturbing part is that all the nations of the world has also announced that citizens should use their currency very fast because they will fix a date when the old currency will be illegal in their country.
Well let see how this adoption will look like in the future.
Whatever you're smoking, maybe you want to lay off it a bit. It's a terrible idea to have one currency around the world that is under the control of a single government, which uses it to protect their local market. We almost saw the Euro collapse and that was only being shared by about 27 countries at the time, because of the Greek debt crisis many years ago - where they were able to borrow off the back of many richer countries in the bloc. The dollar is used for trading out of convenience and stability at the moment, but it is slowly losing it's role as a reserve currency due to the erratic nature of it's government. We are much more likely to see other countries using a basket of currencies but definitely wanting to retain their own where possible, as it gives their central bank much greater control in the middle of crisis. Dollars only would cause problems very similar to the gold standard, which was abandoned many years ago as it did not work and was very inflexible.
