Since di forum don changed it's name to "Dollar Forum" Let's discuss weti happened to dollar today.

Since the past 11+ years in Nigeria, from Buhari to Tinubu government as APC,  dollar dey increase against local currency very high and things come dey increase well well and for that imported goods increased in price plus fuel, gas and crude oil. And because those things dey increased in price, local farmers sef increased their products to meet up the demands of the society, so dem go fit pay their bills. And that causes the poverty level very high in the country. And the government has reduced the employment to cut spending. And this couple with the high cost of living with the inflation and no jobs. Live becomes unbearable. And these jobless people can only survive when the price of  goods and services are in very low cost.

Good news to all, this morning radio and television broadcasted that one dollar is no longer $1/N1,417.60 but it is $1/N1 which means I can use $100 to buy 2 cars and there will change remaining to build a house. Life will be simple to live. The government is doing all his best to make sure that the cost of goods and services will reduce very fast so people will enjoy the country.

Weti una talk for dis matter ? Grin

Shuuu $1 to #1, if e reach that level that mean the whole economy system done turn upside down be that. I agree with your earlier point though over the years, as dollar de rise everything de follow rise from imported goods to local foods because farmers sef de suffer for the fuel, transport and other cost matter but for now even if dollar drop small e no mean say prices go automatically come down immediately. Things for Nigeria no de adjust that fast. So for me if dollar drop e good but d thing be say will it reflect in the price of things that we buy. Na d kind question we suppose de ask ourself. Wetn I know be say na until market price drop, Nigeria no go feel d change even if dollar drop.

Omo if true true $1 is equal to 1 naira, e for make sense oh, prices of things for just drop drastically, we for dey see car but at a very affordable rate. Every sector of the economy for dey affected, but as things be so, na for us to pray make this APC Tinubu administration no Carry am reach 2k per dollar, because that man government so no really get direction, na anywhere belle face government. Another thing wey I dey reason self, if dollar go down, those people wey buy goods as at when dollar been rise, you sure say dem go gree bring down their price.

How did dollar fall? Don't even try enter some ghettos and be saying that dollar has fall, since 2015 till date this country of ours has not been the same. During Obasanjo regime dollar was naira150, Goodwick regime dollar was naira that's PDP. Now this so called APC came in with their fakes promises, using broom as their symbol to clean Nigeria up in their eyes PDP littered with dirty so they are the one to clean it. And people where shouting change now APC has changed Nigeria from good to bad, from 350 per dollar where PDP left it, is now naira1379, 46 per dollar and you're here telling us that dollar is falling before does dollar fall in your eyes? Before i myself will say dollar has fall is when one dollar is equals to naira1 so dollar didn't fall ok.
